Spin Master’s DC line is WAY better strictly because they have more variety of characters to choose from, lots of different playsets and they not only do comic book versions but they actually care enough to do movie versions of ALL their characters, and not just one movie unlike *cough* guardians 3 *cough*.
I like both I don't like how the DC figures have accessories that should clip on to the hand but instead have pegs that the figure has to hold. Additionally the DC figures would be better if the scale issues were fixed. King Shark is too short Robin is too tall.
Robin looks to be aged up in this current run of Spin Masters figure. That's how I knew the character was going to stay robbing other than being Batman's son years ago You're right though The villains aren't tall enough. Bane is the only one who is tall and big but doesn't have any knee articulation lol. Darkseid is tall but not big.
Immediately subscribe to you my dude!!! Specifically collect besides figures the last 15 or 16 years up until now. Really doped you did a comparison specifically based around the two companies competing on this scale you're the only one.

I just hope the Marvel epic heroes has a few characters that I'd be interested in. Particularly Ms. Marvel (Kamala Kahn), Shang Chi, and the Black Order since they have Thanos in there.
I'll never forgive Hasbro for replacing the Marvel Universe line with Epic Heroes. I hope that quality, detailed 4" figures are in the future for serious 1/18th scale collectors

I like both lines but the DC is a way better bang for your buck.

I wanna see a little more variety in both lines. Instead of variants of the same character over and over, and incomplete team lineups.

Spin Master is trying, even tho those first couple waves look rough. They still need more female characters in both lines.
