I always liked this show, even more so the eps from 1980s. The theme music is pretty. I also liked the characters of Seth, Mort, and also Claude Akins role as a local fisherman. I rarely missed an ep. The storylines were good. The book series of the show are good too, and all the characters of the show are in the books. There are about 40 books of the TV show. Always liked whodunit mysteries.

I'm watching reruns of 'Murder, She Wrote'. They're being aired here in The Netherlands on a commercial TV channel. Currently, I'm in season 2, which is 1986. Everything looks sooooo different compared to 1990s 'Murder, She Wrote'! Fashion, hairstyles, cars, interiors. But also social interaction and the soft tone filter picture quality. I do spot a 1980s leftover at 6:27: it's a Rubik's Cube!

I once met William Windom when I was on a trip to the Virgin Islands. It was at Caneel Bay. Our group was there for lunch- it was a real treat for us- and he was there as a guest. The lunch cost $14 each, and I remember hummingbirds flying everywhere, eating from the sugar bowls. $14 was a lot back in those days, especially for a college student. I am very disappointed that this is not a full length version of the program.
