Big up the Card Mechanic! Great tip for the Marlowe Tilt: Actually use the chosen card to tap some cards in the center of the deck out... then as you place the chosen under the top card (or top three in this case), simultaneously square up the pack. Adds THE best confirmation for the audience that it's going in the middle!
