Kiosk is a perfect example of "damn this looks like a fun game" and then they throw these pretty cheap jumpscares at you. And I get disappointed that we have the equivalent of a comedian running offstage to tickle you and then going "But you laughed!". The guy going "turn around" was pretty sick though. And the dread from the 5 beers guy story, too.
The first one is so great. That's exactly what it's like working the night shift by yourself. You can't remember what the customers order, you're always understocked on everything, and you get really paranoid really easily. Piss off a customer? Now you get to spend every night worrying in the back of your mind that they'll come back with a gun, while also keeping up with everything else. Good times *And of course, the inevitable "why do they make the food this way when it's clearly better this way?"
when i walk down the dark halls of my work during graveshifts, i get so freaked out. the lights are motion activated. i get freaked thinking either a ghost or a psychopath is gonna pop out and grab me. it’s even worse at the building downtown, where it’s so old it’s absolutely haunted.

I'm fine with 30 minutes of mundane activity - that is real horror in my opinion (I Saw The TV Glow is a great example of mundane life horror in film) but I do wish it had more than jumpscares sometimes. Like why can't it just be uncomfortable? The jumpscares rarely add much to the already-present horror of existing amongst others

It's always easy to judge a situation with hindsight. It's the individuals responsibility to at least have a brain capacity to understand that driving might not be the smartest idea while you are intoxicated, and if you can't trust you self on that part, then don't drink at all, or at least have a trustworthy friend with you.
