In the part where Ellie rides Callus if you go left and then right near the end of the segment you can keep going without getting shot and endlessly ride callus.
I’ve actually killed all the infected in the sewer right before the door opened on the ps3. I don’t know if it works the same for remastered, though.

Had a glitch once where after Joel was hurt and Ellie was helping him walk, she just started T-posing over Joel's dying body lol

On the epilogue if you run while spamming r2 run towards a pile of rocks she'll t pose I found this on accident

The longest one are obviously exploited from monitoring the games coding while playing. These are to exploit are obviously not found by accident because most accident can't be well explained.
There's no effort. What's discovered is seen by accident, what isn't seen by accident is searched. It's no effort to discover, it's effort to find by searching
@@EnchantedSmellyWolf the longest ones are made by getting out of bounds, and when getting out of bounds by accident it's obvious that you want to explore that area so you can find interesting things and glitches. The single one I can't say it was found by accident is that one in the water near the hotel in Pittsburgh.

I dont know if you covered this because I'm not done watching yet, but you can keep your revolver entering the David boss fight if you press triangle as far away from the door as it will let you and then walk backward. Added bonus: he's stuck outside AND you get some wacky leg glitches and T-Pose glitches in the last segment as Ellie when you equip the gun

If there is footage from the PS3 version then there may be more bugs because it was unpatched.

I beat this game twice and I never encountered any glitch.
People who found these glitches didn't find them out of the blue, they were looking for them.
If you play this game the way it's intended to be played you will never watch this stuff happen.
The glitches toward the start are the ones people looked for. The ones later on pretty much all of them were found accidentally. Then we worked on why they happened and if we could get them on purpose.

2:43:41 I’ve had that happen, you can float through the ceiling and just keep going forever. I’ve always had in the museum right after Tess gets bit, if you skull smash a runner into the wall behind the red ropes you can go through the wall back to the hall way at the beginning of the museum and see outside. I always skull smashed a enemy into the shelves after the truck ambush and the guy laid flat onto the shelve in mid air. Always right after Joel wakes up in the basement if you take one step back on the PS3 you can glitch out and see through everything, they patched it on the PS4 be the light and shadows still shift around and go super white

Bruh I was hiding in a building from hunters and Ellie just kept on walking into the wall. I couldn’t stop laughing and almost died because I wasn’t paying attention to the hunters in the hallway.
The invisible stalker has got me at the generator too.
I remember one time I was playing through the part when your going threw the town and when we go to the house with darts, Henry’s model glitch out and he was floating outside in a T-Pose
I had an instance where the infected didn't spawn in. It happened to me in the tunnel in Salt Lake though. The three 'sleeping' runners still spawned in in that side hallway but, the rest didn't, and Joel and Ellie still reacted like they all had.
39:23 that happened to me before but it didnt filled in until I restarted the last checkpoint and yes, the ground is still solid when you walk passed that
The weird glitch of Joel floating in graveyard works on grounded, i discovered it by accident also but the problem is that the first two clickers can hear you of course (you're not floating yet), so it's not very effective, Bill's probably gonna get a plus sign.
Was running tlou last night and on searchlight, I guess I climbed over the railings of the stairs too quick for Henry and it broke the entire section, door being open and I t-posed gracefully out to the big door/gate, wish I got a picture or clip of it
I got 3 glitches during Winter, the first was when i used Ellie's knife she would swing the rifle around. The second one was i had infinite crafting materials and the third one was when you get to the David boss fight you can climb back out of a window and usually you die but somehow i managed to get back outside and I could run around in front of the restaurant.

There’s a similar glitch to the one shown at 33:00 with the David boss fight. When you first hop into the kitchen, there’s a window that you can climb to below a counter on your right. If you climb into it, that same thing happens.

The reloading animation glitch at 1:29:19 happens to me all the time in factions when I use the frontier rifle
After Joel gets injured in the science lab make sure to never reload the last encounter. If you do you will literally lose your primary and secondary weapon holsters. I hope that's only happened to me but it was a very annoying glitch that could only be fixed by picking up a new weapon.
I had a glitch tonight in my glitchless run after bills upside down trap if Bill hits you from behind right when you go the first door (when you’re still running for the zombies) you’ll get a speed boost to the exit) I’m only about 45 minutes through the video. So I don’t know if he talks about it later, but I thought it was cool.

also, another really strange glitch is in the sewers level. notice that you cant kill a clicker with 4 hits with a melee weapon. in the last hit the clicker will bite you, and somtimes you wont be able to stun aa stalker or a clicker by runing thowards them with a melee weapon. they will attack first.
That glitch where nobody spawned in on the way to the hotel kitchen happened on my first playthrough, so I was caught completely of guard during my second playthrough.
The gas mask thing didn't happen though.

It’s in the bar just before the yellow bridge.
Every time. That's why I restart encounter when I enter the bar. It gets rid of that.

I had a creepy glitch last night in winter when I was running away from David's crew and a woman npc was running with me. I couldn't attack her and she wouldn't attack me, she just kept running in my direction. It scared the shit out of me, I've beaten the game about 10 times and never saw her before.

27:03 I honestly just walk backwards with my camera facing forward when doing that glitch and it works perfectly fine.

I'm wondering if that second plank thats out of bounds is actually the plank that appears above water when you press the triangle prompt to release the plank thats stuck underwater.
There's a jump cut just before you submerge, so maybe instead of making the animation of it releasing, and also removing that white caution tape, they just had that one out of bounds spawn when you submerge.
Next time I play through I will be sure to check if the first one is still there underwater after ellie gets off the palette/plank.
That would be my guess as to why that extra plank is there.
I discovered one accidentally!
In the beginning where the door kills you, you have to speed to the ladder, throw it up, quickly climb up it before tess finishes asking where the ladder is, way before she climbs it. The game's broke now. She's silent, won't move, you can run through. I can't remember if the pendant spawns in, but you can't interact with anything. You run through the spores without your gas mask, but you get stuck at the post because you can't move it. Triangle doesn't even show up.
I'm only an hour and a half in, so i don't know if you hit this one later: in Bill's town when you go through the gate ellie pulled the pipe out of. If you swap the one you pick up on the out-building, you get shi materials. You can craft a shiv, swap pipes then swap back, and get more material. Good for grounded mode where you don't get materials.

The joel/tess side effect was the same, but what did it was a separate glitch.
I think the second one is already known, it's often called the shiv glitch!

It happens quite frequently to me. But only when i rush the last section of the museum (with a bunch of runners) like in a speedrun. It doesnt happen always though, i wonder what causes it.
@@joaolucasbraga4642 it always happens when you restart the encounter where Ellie is being attacked and quickly rush out to the window and to the rooftop. Happened to me on all my three gameplays doing the exact same thing
ive once had ellie start t-posing while controlling her during the winter segment and she kept the t-pose as long as you kept moving, and when you stopped and started walking again her animations would go back to normal
at the university before joel gets hurt, right before you drop into the area with the clickers and shambler, if you used listen mode to look at where ellie and callace were she would t-pose there as well. only on the side of the hallway where the hole in the floor is though.
edit: 2:22:51 this was the exact same thing that happened to me! i got a video of it on my phone
9:31 This also happens in Uncharted 3. If you do the chapter 8 skip, it will take you in a cutscenes and when it ends, Chloe's hair will "disappear", similiar to Ellie's.

First run through I did, the infected didn’t spawn in the car push scene either, just like you showed in the hotel basement

that reload glitch at 1:30:00 is so common and can happen with the shotgun, the frontier rifle, and the hunting rifle as far as I know
I had this glitch where Ellie was on the horse and she was twisted her fingers were bent backwards and her legs were super long and twisted it was traumatic and her face was like mutilated and she was bending back really far. I’ll never forget it
I had this glitch where I jumped off a legde I wasn't supposed to, and Joel got stuck in mid-air. After a couple seconds of floating he just died, and I had to redo a bit of the game - it was so funny to me I wasn't even mad 😂
@AnthonyCaliber I’m struggling to perform the gun drop consistently. The only way I differ from your example is that I have two hits and so I wanted to ask what is a good way to build the muscle memory for quick aiming because I think I have it, but I don’t and so the gun just aims it doesn’t drop. Thanks and keep up the good work.
I managed to get back in bounds in the hotel lobby at 1:21:50. I was playing on ps3 so I didn’t have photo mode but I managed to find my way back to where you start this section and clip back in bounds
@1:31:39 in this section I was playing on Grounded and took out the first 2 guys like normal then messed around crafting for a few seconds and then went and shot the guy using the light, went back and hid, and the clicker that the enemies were shooting at walked into the room with me and into the wall, I just uploaded a video of it, I tried for a little while to get it to happen again but I couldn't. You can hear it throughout most of the video and you can see Joel try to hit it when I use the Pipe while running to the corner of the wall he's stuck in, and the enemies kept reacting to it's clicking lol. Idk if you have seen this, I honestly haven't watched this whole video or the other glitch video but I figured I'd comment anyways.
1:11:55 Looks like the dead runner stuck in the gate is getting hit with something like opposing penalty forces. When a moving object hits terrain, the physics will handle it with a penalty force (think back to physics class-a force applied to an object has an equal but opposite force applied back to it by that object). For terrain that's supposed to be immovable that's the penalty force. So simple way to simulate that is that, small part of the geometry of the moving object intersects the terrain, and the penalty force applied is based on the amount of intersection.
When the main character gets stuck in a crate or between 2 pieces of fixed terrain, and you often see that weird back and forth thrashing, that's probably opposing penalty forces knocking the object back and forth, effectively trying to "eject" the foreign object and failing. Same thing when you have dead players or NPCs, they ragdoll, but it looks like they just keep jittering around all over long after they're dead. In this case, it's probably because of the double layers of gate that are slightly separated from each other.
The Uncharted games all use the Havok engine and I believe TLoU1+2 both do as well, and I recall both my graphics professor and some friends who were using it for one of their undergrad research projects (around 2009-2010) saying Havok had a number of problems. One would hope that it's improved over the years. (Otoh, corpse-collision thrashing I've seen in nearly all 3d games going back to since like.. the EIDOS Tomb Raiders of the '90s, so it seems fairly universal in every game with 3d and any amount of physics sim. I don't know if any engine developers have ever come up with a perfect fix for it, at least one that's widely known and adopted.)
I've had a glitch when ur playing as Ellie in the end of the game her head would completely move to her right shoulder and she'd be stuck in a t pose right before you get to the log that intiates the cutscene where Joel lies to Ellie about finding the cure lmao funniest shit I've seen
Today I've found two new glitches (if not yet discovered); a small variation on the glitch in the capital building (43:20). If Ellie falls off the ledge after all the soldiers are killed, she dissapears. If you try to proceed the mission, the game crashes once you continue off the stairs on the bottom floor.
Another glitch is at Tommy's dam. If you go to the first shiv door and help Ellie cross the water before you turned the first valve and then turn back to the beginning of the level, Ellie will spawn right next to you with only her head above ground level, then jump in the air after a small while.

I haven’t experienced any glitches the games pretty solid unless you are purposely trying to glitch it but I had one were I got stuck in a wall in the college area just before Ellie opens the door and yells where the fire flys are and Joel got stuck in the wall he kinda glitched to the right going through the door and got stuck in the wall.
I'm not sure why but I can't seem to get the 'dropping the revolver' glitch to work. Maybe I'm doing something wrong like aiming a little too late
