I am not surprised. An HIV positive client told us that she has not been taking her anti-retroviral medication for the past one year and six months because she was by "Adom nyame" that the sickness has been washed from her blood after having drank the "sobolo". the sad part is that she is pregnant and almost due with an HB of 5.6gd/l and HIV is still positive. I'm just scared for the innocent baby cos she has refused to take the medicine and blod transfusion. This is sad, the pastor in question seeks medical health when he is not well but gives "yesu mogya" to the congregation when they r not well. May God have mercy on us.
We need to actually come out and speak. My auntie had cancer and refused surgery because of sobolo. I was informed and went to convince her but by then it was almost too late. My auntie hasn't been the same after.
