He crossed the line, there’s no doubt. You can’t step on the field unless you have a field pass or something. Even then though... but I think the NFL is being a little harsh.
As a Detroit lions season ticket holder he is expected to abide by the code of conduct that was outlined by our organization, so it made sense that Detroit opted to revoke his season tickets. However to ban him from all NFL stadiums seems like a bit much. And if they are going to ban him from all stadiums then Matt Lafleur needs to be punished for also participating in the back and forth. After all he directly represents and works for the NFL.
Well, it is the cheese heads, so, in my opinion, they basically tell Roger Goodell that their feelings were hurt, so you better do something about this.
Not fair, but like you said. They are making an example. People have to act right. The Lions reputation is so good right now as a team and the fans have to reflect that
No one was physically hurt.... I can see paying a fine and maybe a short ban however the ban from all stadiums is a bit extra he should get another chance
All stadiums use face technology, and apps like Ticketmaster if he links for tickets. Ford Field has the best tech, their is a video on TH-cam about it, but they scan and such they know amount of time people spend on phones etc, and such
Matt is a cry baby! I heard also Matt called the league before the first game when we played the Packers and thats why branch was ejected so easy as we all knew that wasnt intentional!
The Fan is out of line no doubt. But why does Matt Lafluer get to act like a physco? He’s charged at refs, he’s always acting like a maniac on the sidelines. He’s actually put hands on a referee. The head coach shouldn’t get a pass.
I get he acted outside himself, but talking trash to opposing the team doesn't warrant this reaction. If you've seen the vid, its LaFleur who closes distance with the fan and gets in his face. But the story i hear constantly is "Lions' fan gets in GB coach's face"
What’s happened to sportsmanship? Hey I know there’s rivalry’s and stuff but come on , at the end of the day we are all on the same team. People get too carried away sometimes.
Matt LeFleur really got away with one here.

Im in complete agreement. We're both seeing this situation through the same lens. The punishment is pretty egregious.

Agreed, he needs a suspension, Fine, SOMETHING FOR BEING INVOLVED!
Or else it’s OK for a coach to lose his cool to Fans.
Also the packers fan dumped beer on amon ra st Brown got nothing not even talked about by green bay.

What do you expect from a woke league? pathetic!
Not fair, but like you said. They are making an example. People have to act right. The Lions reputation is so good right now as a team and the fans have to reflect that
The fan was ridiculously immature and what he did was unacceptable. People need to grow up and act like adults. Go lions
They have to make an example out of someone justice served
Harsh
That's some BS and unfair
No one was physically hurt.... I can see paying a fine and maybe a short ban however the ban from all stadiums is a bit extra he should get another chance
They should waive the course fee and let him start over
LaFleur needs to be punished as well. He participated in that argument as well
I agree that the fan crossed the line but lafluer did too and this isnt fair treatment across the board
Play stupid games win stupid prizes! Also the copycat factor but I bet LaFlower went and LaCried to as high up as possible 😂.
Absolutely fair, dude behaved like a fb period.
I don't agree with the punishment
Does anyone know how they would enforce that? Unless they use technology to scan peoples faces, how would they know he is in the stadium.
They wouldn’t know unless he got caught doing something and I believe it’s similar to trespassing.

Too harsh.
Who made these decisions?
Security experts who run lions security.
They must justify their jobs, so they went all out on this.

So will Matt be punished as well? This is over excessive in my opinion. He was talking crap to a division rival
When you are making hand gestures of slacing throats you gotta go. I'm a die hard lions fan and to me or fans have no business acting like that.
What about his money for the remaining games?
Not fair at all.
What’s happened to sportsmanship? Hey I know there’s rivalry’s and stuff but come on , at the end of the day we are all on the same team. People get too carried away sometimes.
The league it trying to get ahead things before they get out of control. We don’t need a Malice in Palace 2.0 🤷🏽♂️
What an absurd thing to say. Just completely detached from reality. "Another malice in the palace?" I mean....really?
HARSH FOR SURE
I’d call Sam
I hate the NFL. What a bunch of snowflakes. The fans in Philly must be laughing their butts off.
Ehhh,. save him some money.
good he's a dummy and made us look bad
Don't act like a fool, you won't be treated like one.
