I looked up the choreo's origin (Project Sekai, apparently?), and I found myself in disbelief at the fact that these three we see here managed to outspeed the original. 😮
Several months ago Astel tweeted about being exhausted from "performing the hardest dance he had ever done". I initially thought it was one of the dance from his 4th Anni, then I thought it was his "Idol" performance from the countdown concert, now I'm pretty sure he was referring to this. (Watch it be something else even crazier than this later)
I was led to the VBS boys' take on this song thanks to this performance, and that ended up having me even more amazed at this, especially at the footwork. Also, this is my fave Ifuudoudou performance so far, especially thanks to the balance of coolness and sexiness. 🤩
I always knew Astel was one of the best when it came to dancing (highly recommend Countdown Live 22->23 Cinema w/Astel, Izuru, Suisei if you haven't seen it) but this live has shown me that I was definitely underestimating Shien. He really deserves the title of "Mafia Boss" with how much he's slaying.
Ngl, their dances is more cooler than the girls side even until now. Probably bae, lapluss, aki is on par with the dance their performed. But objectively, the girls always use more cutesy dance rather than this type of dance. IMO though
When it comes to the idol dances I've seen so far and even as a fanboy, boys' dances stick to me a lot more than girls' dances do because of how bombastic they tend to be on top of being cool. Not like it's just bombastic dances that get me, though, as I remember Taemin's MOVE being the example that comes to my mind when it comes to subtle dancing. Nor are cute dances no good to me, considering performances like what Ollie, Bae, Roberu, and Gamma did with Beat De Tohi.
