good and depressing. Filipino/Filipina migrant workers in HK, Saudi, etc, are poorly treated and there are very little government intervention to monitor their well being in other countries. It is quite normal in Philippine social media to see videos of migrant workers being maltreated by their employers. The government chose to romanticize their situation calling them "new heroes" (because they save the economy by bringing in dollars increasing our gdp), yet do very little to protect their well-being in other countries. A former celebrity/pornstar with little to no experience or knowledge of governance was even appointed as Deputy Executive Director of the agency in charge of taking care of these migrant workers. so yeah, this song is depressing..,and also good.. because despite all that shit... they can still teach people say "mahal kita." instead of the more appropriate scream of "PUTANG INA!!" to their situation.
