  • Howdy ya’ll. Let’s get back into the Old World Series of videos, where we focus on the largest, and most unique structures from pre-1900, and we dive into the oldest known photographs of these structures. Today we will be looking at the New Brighton Tower in England, which was the tallest building in England during the short period of time in which it stood (1898-1919).
We will also then discuss an absolute beauty, the Mole Antonelliana in Turin, Italy. This brick structure, upon completion in 1889, was the tallest brick structure in Europe. However, from the unification of Italy in 1861, through the origins of the Mole in 1863, we have a unique history which we will discuss briefly while we examine the oldest images. Enjoy!
