I really got a very nice Idea about the SDN with your tutorial techniques. Basically I am a Database consultant, serving in FSI sector for more than a decade. I was having some doubts on the SDN portion and configuration. But your tutorials helps me in enhancing the SDN knowledge. This will be help me designing the infrastructure architecture a quite well with SDN techniques. Thanks a lot.

Hi, David and everyone. I am stuck in 6:11 part. I am doing the same topology as in the video. I am unable to enable the ubuntu container for instance (ubuntu 3) to ping other devices on the network. I set static IP in the config file and I get destination host unreachable. The openvSwitches received DHCP successfully through eth0. I have tried to set different IP addresses even in the DHCP range, nothing works. Thanks
Hi David, first I wanna give you thanks because almost everything that I know about SDN is based in your videos and I wanna asked you why if I use an IP address to generate a match the flow created is not operational?
Controller Error Cannot load topology data from controller,check connection settings in config Cannot load inventory data from controller. These errors are returned on the OFM gui even after configuring the Open VSwitches.
This worked for me: Stop ODL with Ctrl+D cd ./OpenDaylight-Openflow-App/ofm/src/common/config nano env.module.js. change the ip address to the one of the controller then start ODL again cd distribution-karaf-0.3.0-Lithium ./bin/karaf

Thanks a lot. It is amazing video. I a have problem with Ubuntu which is running on docker container. The installed packages and the configuration have gone when I close the GNS3 and open it up again. What can I do to save configuration of containers.

is the UbuntuDocker Guest give the same work of Ubuntu node?
