For me, GFRIEND was my first and only Korean girl group that I really like and became a fan (buddy) since 2015. I'm an American, so I just followed GFRIEND through their videos, tv shows and any news related to them. My dream was to meet them in person or see them in a concert. I was very sad when I heard that GFRIEND was disbanded. Now, I keep following Sowon, Yerin, Eunha, Yuju, SinB and Umji in their new journey. I recognize how hard they work and how talented they all are. I wish them all the best and I let them know that I will be still their biggest fan. Love from the U.S.A ❤🇺🇸

Jung yerin is my first celebrity i stan and is has been 7years already. When i first watching kpop top5 weekly i found Rough and their choreography make me impressive but the one who catch my eyes is Jung yerin the one who sitting on bus. So i'm beginning search group name "GFRIEND " and know her name is "Jung Yerin" lead dancer, vocallist .Tbh i dont know myself why my heart is suddenly falling on her only i know is "I want to see her smile, dancing, singing, having funs,everything in my mind is Jung Yerin" still she is my bias and always be.
This may be one of the cutest interaction between an idol and a fan's parent/a fan that I ever witnessed. The letter was so sincere and I even got emotional listening to the mom reading it. I wish a long and beautiful life to the daughter and the mom. And I wish a successful and happy career/life to Yerin. From a Buddy since 2015 💛.
If I were a mom I would be happy if my daughter is following somebody like Yerin. She is smart, pretty, talented and most important a hardworking person, she is humble and kind, but still she is human, and a good role model for any child.
I really love Yerin for how sincere she has always been with fans. I joke with my friends that she's one of those people who was born to be an idol, because she's so good at arguably the most important part of the job: the fan/idol relationship. A person can be pretty and dance and sing well and gain lots of fans, but fans will really stick around if they feel that their idol appreciates them and gives back to the relationship well. I think that's what Yerin does. She's so hardworking and talented but also so kind and earnest to everyone. It's really heartwarming to see her receive these praises in person, especially from a young fan who has literally grown up with her

You're advocating arbitrary restrictions on kpop. Why stop there? Why not restrict sales of toys, games, tech, clothing, alcohol, food, stocks, crypto, art paintings, etc? How about restrictions on internet and social media, as well as hourly limits on video games like China? That's a slippery slope that leads to communism. You don't want to spend above your means, but in a free country, it's up to the individual to decide what to do with their wallet. Korea has become a top 10 global economy because of free market capitalism. If you want communism, where the government tells you what you can and can't do with your money and business, North Korea welcomes you.
I met Gfriend on my first year in college. Not joking but they became my therapy when I was in college lol. They gave me strength and happiness. When I’m so stressed out and don’t know what to do their music and they themselves helped me get through bad days in school and helped me worked on piles of piles of school stuff. And their story inspired me that hard work will never betray you. I thought they were just a phase in my life but I didn’t expect that they gonna left a huge impact on me. And I’m always thankful for that day when I stumbled upon their Seoul Music Awards 2016 performance and how mesmerized I am to see these six talented girls. Gfriend was also the one who changed my whole perspective about kpop. Thank you Yerin and Gfriend for your music! I will always give all my love and support to all of you in your new journey as an artists, keep on shining!

I am thinking if my mother met Yerin, Im hoping it could happen so she can understand why i love this girls so much :< She just thought im wasting time watching yerin and gfriend girls, she didn't know how much happiness these girls gave me everyday. I suffered depression at the age of 18, im so glad im able to know them and starts watching all their variety shows bc their personalities make me feel happy and as the time passes by, im finally recovered from depression which i only bear with my self, without my family knowing. Yerin is so loveable. I became a Buddy in 2016 and Gfriend is the first girl group I stan for a long time even until now. I was in a highschool when I first became a Buddy but now I'm currently pursuing a degree in university. Last year, it was a really hard time for me. When i read about the disbandment news, I can't help but to cry the whole day. For that whole week, I just avoid listening to Gfriend's songs. I was in a denial for a few months. How I wish it was a dream. As the members started to sign with new companies one by one, I have a mixed feelings. I'm happy that they finally have a greater opportunity to try a lot of new things but in the same time I just can't help to think about the time when they are together as Gfriend. It's really hurt when people around me keep asking me to move on from them but I know, I can believe in them. I believe that they will stand on stage as Gfriend again in the future. And till then, I will try my best to support each of them cause they are my source of happiness 💛

I remember that I became a fan of gfriend year 2016 and I'm so happy that I can stan for a long time bcs I heard that they're just debuted a year behind. I keep telling myself that my girls always did well so I need also do my part as a fan. I always watching their videos and until 05/18 announcement, I woke up at 11am and saw the news abt they're not renewing their contract. I feel happy at the same bcs they don't deserve that company. But when they announced the dsbndment I can't stop crying the whole day, even I'm working that day. I can still remember that I was spaced out and kept on making mistakes during my work day. But right now, I slowly accept it and wishing the day comes when they can perform together again.
I really wish Yerin can come out at the end and hug the daughter. Yerin is my bias and this episode just reinforced my love and admiration for her. Yerin is truly one of a kind. A beautiful. talented, sincere, down-to-earth, kind person.
Before falling in deep with K-Pop music, I was an off & on gamer and anime watcher. My intro to international music was that of an OST from Japan but even some of my fave anime songs doesn't stick to me the way GFRIEND's music has. I mean, GF wasn't the first Korean gg that I got into, but AFTER knowing them, they were 1 of 2 ggs I fully support. (Dreamcatcher is the other). It's their natural chemistry and all around efforts that kept me glued. It's so hard to stan just ONE individual when ALL just stands out.... If anything, Yerin sorta became the transformed extrovert to be the spokesperson for GF when really she's not. So, I give her ALOT of credit in her growth to be the artist she stands today. I too, in my own way, as a BUDDY or in their new fandom, simply as one of their fans, just am proud to see them performing again!!! 🥰

I met Gfriend on my first year in college. Not joking but they became my therapy when I was in college lol. They gave me strength and happiness. When I’m so stressed out and don’t know what to do their music and they themselves helped me get through bad days in school and helped me worked on piles of piles of school stuff. And their story inspired me that hard work will never betray you. I thought they were just a phase in my life but I didn’t expect that they gonna left a huge impact on me.
And I’m always thankful for that day when I stumbled upon their Seoul Music Awards 2016 performance and how mesmerized I am to see these six talented girls. Gfriend was also the one who changed my whole perspective about kpop. Thank you Yerin and Gfriend for your music! I will always give all my love and support to all of you in your new journey as an artists, keep on shining!

I am thinking if my mother met Yerin, Im hoping it could happen so she can understand why i love this girls so much :< She just thought im wasting time watching yerin and gfriend girls, she didn't know how much happiness these girls gave me everyday. I suffered depression at the age of 18, im so glad im able to know them and starts watching all their variety shows bc their personalities make me feel happy and as the time passes by, im finally recovered from depression which i only bear with my self, without my family knowing. Yerin is so loveable. I became a Buddy in 2016 and Gfriend is the first girl group I stan for a long time even until now. I was in a highschool when I first became a Buddy but now I'm currently pursuing a degree in university. Last year, it was a really hard time for me. When i read about the disbandment news, I can't help but to cry the whole day. For that whole week, I just avoid listening to Gfriend's songs. I was in a denial for a few months. How I wish it was a dream. As the members started to sign with new companies one by one, I have a mixed feelings. I'm happy that they finally have a greater opportunity to try a lot of new things but in the same time I just can't help to think about the time when they are together as Gfriend. It's really hurt when people around me keep asking me to move on from them but I know, I can believe in them. I believe that they will stand on stage as Gfriend again in the future. And till then, I will try my best to support each of them cause they are my source of happiness 💛

I remember that I became a fan of gfriend year 2016 and I'm so happy that I can stan for a long time bcs I heard that they're just debuted a year behind. I keep telling myself that my girls always did well so I need also do my part as a fan. I always watching their videos and until 05/18 announcement, I woke up at 11am and saw the news abt they're not renewing their contract. I feel happy at the same bcs they don't deserve that company. But when they announced the dsbndment I can't stop crying the whole day, even I'm working that day. I can still remember that I was spaced out and kept on making mistakes during my work day.
But right now, I slowly accept it and wishing the day comes when they can perform together again.
I really wish Yerin can come out at the end and hug the daughter. Yerin is my bias and this episode just reinforced my love and admiration for her. Yerin is truly one of a kind. A beautiful. talented, sincere, down-to-earth, kind person.
Before falling in deep with K-Pop music, I was an off & on gamer and anime watcher. My intro to international music was that of an OST from Japan but even some of my fave anime songs doesn't stick to me the way GFRIEND's music has. I mean, GF wasn't the first Korean gg that I got into, but AFTER knowing them, they were 1 of 2 ggs I fully support. (Dreamcatcher is the other). It's their natural chemistry and all around efforts that kept me glued. It's so hard to stan just ONE individual when ALL just stands out.... If anything, Yerin sorta became the transformed extrovert to be the spokesperson for GF when really she's not. So, I give her ALOT of credit in her growth to be the artist she stands today. I too, in my own way, as a BUDDY or in their new fandom, simply as one of their fans, just am proud to see them performing again!!! 🥰
