Nice! I've been thinking about adding this setup to my 2013 e92 M3. After watching this video, I most certainly will. I like the mate version of it....
Love all the CF plenums for the E9X, but I'd have to have a pretty healthy amount of messing-around cash to ever actually pull the trigger on one. I'll just continue to rock the stock plenum for now, I guess. Great video and awesome sound!
@Gareth Foley Wow! That's insane that you've had yours for so long! I sold my Melbourne Red E90 M3 6-speed manual in 2018 and regretted it every day since. Just scooped up a 2011 silverstone metallic II E90 M3 6-speed manual in September of this year and have the current mods: Alpine tune, afe intake, turner test pipes, deleted secondary cats, ACM muffler mod, and afe underdrive pulley kit. I did did all the mods myself but have fresh MPORIUM WPC treated ACL Tri-metal rod bearings with extra clearance, oil pan gasket, and motor mounts as of 5K miles ago. Maybe I'll eventually pull the trigger on a CF plenum.
Great video except for the annoying music that plays in between clips. I have a 2008 M3 and prefer the stock air filter but would like more intake noise. I'm assuming I could just purchase and install the intake plenum? Will that also increase the performance a little?
Can't believe I've been missing out on this update along with my test pipe. Is the plenum needed for the most impact? Seems like it's mostly all just the air filter and air box provides most the sound.
🤣🤣 I don't think there is too much secret sauce on my approach. I only changed two things: 1) Diet - I never removed anything, just chose to limit many of the things that generally are not beneficial for your health. 2) Exercise regimen - Heavier on the cardio side than weight/resistance training. Picked up running in April 2022 and have been working on improving on that ever since The key to both of the things listed above working is I have been consistent and uncompromising on both fronts for a year. I haven't cheated on how I eat and have consistently devoted at minimum an hour 4-5 days per week to intensive exercise. I've taken the slow and steady approach which has made it easier and sustainable. I don't miss anything on the food front and I need to exercise now to feel good.
I love these M3, but that intake would look so much better in a dry carbon finish. Dry carbon doesn't look so mid-2000s as not tinted high gloss CF. Not sure it's worth the high price, I mean it's 40% of a supercharger and might gain 5% of a SC power. Plus the intake noise through a supercharger and extra power would be the better buy IMO.
@Voll Care You can hear the compressor at idle, at all points of the RPM range, and they sound great when you back off the throttle and the bypass or BOV pops open. With that CF Airbox, you have to be really high in the revs to really enjoy it.
I like the car in its NA form. I'm not really worried about total power potential either. I do have an idea of building a 4.6 stroker one day but that's way down the road. I almost always choose the path of most resistance on anything car related it seems. Edit: Also, to your point about dry carbon. Eventuri does offer these parts in dry carbon and I was contemplating that decision. But between the roof being clear coated and other accents on the car being gloss finish I wanted to keep it consistent across the car.
Sorry for the repost - forget to add in the driving sound footage on the first upload!
Hey Gareth, congrats on the fitness journey man. Huge improvements, keep it up.💪💪💪
Thank you. I appreciate it. It's been a long road and I still have more I am working towards. I should have been on it much sooner.
One of the best mods I’ve done to my e92.
The sound is unreal 👌🏻👌🏻

Gareth - Great content. Keep up the videos on the E9x M3 cars for fellow owners.
Hopefully more for E9X M3 owners on the content end in 2023.
Hey Gareth! You lost a huge weight Bro! Congrats 🎊
Thank you. It's been a trip but really happy where I am now compared to where I was. But still working every day to the next best version I can be.

I rocked the stock plenum for 11+ years. Nothing wrong with that at all.

FG looking lean and mean.
Thank you.
I've been wanting this forever also!
Glad we finally got to it!

we asked and we received love to see it
We are here to please cash

Can we get new BMW OEM 359M Competition Pkg wheels for Gareth's sweet E92 M3 from Santa? Nice and meaty.
Some day. I was also looking at BBS LM's for awhile too. I'm too indecisive on wheels if I'm being honest.
More F10 M5 videos please!

The intake sound sound is far better without a compressor kit on it

I am contemplating buying either Karbonius or Eventuri. I am confused which make to go with.
Nice engine, still NA's on the road....

If you buy part’s separately, can you mix the eventuri plenum with for example afe dry filter intake?
Sure. The Eventuri is modeled to be exactly the same as original, so any intake that's meant to install on that will work with the Eventuri.
Anybody have the connector part numbers that connect to the plenum? Specifically the front 2. The ones I have got brittle.
Dyno gains ? How much for those parts ?
Gareth, next time I order something for my e46 M3 can you sign a shirt and include it 😂
We should have merch available again soon. So when that time comes I can definitely sign a shirt for you.
@@GarethFoley let’s gooo! Thanks man!

Why was it Re-uploaded?
Never mind, added the sound clips thanks!!!! Sounds awesome
Just here to please James K!
please stop putting that terrible music in your videos
I agree, it’s really awkward and cheesy. Nothing wrong with a little bit of silence in between speaking like they used to do
