14:00 taking a train to virginia to check out the Teflon Rose BBS sysadmin. Guy bought over 100 telephone lines to fit inside his house.
Inside he had over 15 c-64's and a couple of Amiga 500's
Half of the telephone lines went through his bedroom window.

I wanted to submit my resume when the Lopht opened up an office with new fellow employees of Symantec.
When I walked up to the door they were permanently closed then I read they closed because the kick ass l0pht teams refused to wear shirt and tie.

New "cyber security" programs seem like they are destroying talent. I tell people to study traditional CS/CE... Hacking is about understanding how things work, and then pushing that boundary a bit.... So it makes sense to start from the ground up in my opinion. Maybe that's just because that is how I was taught circa 2003-2008 (grade school/high school) hanging in strange IRC channels... I must admit.. It served me pretty damn well.
