This is My favourite TH-cam channel for Microsoft flight simulator. More Xbox videos please. It's a great platform for fs2020. Cessna 152/172 is more my level though, I've learned a lot from videos. Thanks.
I also purchased the 737-800 and the Bae147 on Xbox Series X. Amazing! This is what I was hoping for with the Xbox version of MSFS. Love your videos Huddison 👍. I'm hoping to be able to rejoin your flights later this year.
Simbrief integration works just fine on the A310 (for syncing flight plans) and the Cirrus Vision Jet has navigraph charts integration on Xbox so i'm sure they can get them to work on this baby. Cheers :)
I’ve got Simbrief and Navigraph working on this aircraft. No problems at all. Maybe uninstall and reinstall the plane. It defo works. I’m on series x though, not sure if that makes any difference
Just don't go to showroom camera view and ZOOM IN! The external aircraft textures are just overlays so all the rivets, decals, doors etc are very low res even on my Series X. From external distance shots it looks ok. I also removed the co pilot and the passenger cabin and this increases frame rate a lot. Flight model wise? I will say this has the most REALISTIC flight physics of any aircraft so far. My first takeoff was so smooth and realistic but the circuit and approach and landing revealed how true to life this BAE-146 is. The aircraft has a real weight and responsiveness that no other aircraft does. This is 1,000% better. I'd buy FS 2020 just for this single aircraft. 5 stars!!!!!!!
@@waitbalthy6342 Yes and they fly just as these small GA's are. The BAE-146 is impressive because it truly conveys the 30 tonne weight with such precision. Cheers!
Amazing review! I play on Xbox too and it feels the pc players have much more add ones so to see some of that coming to xbox is amazing you earned yourself a new subscriber keep this good job up 😊
I'm actually more excited by this one than the PMDG 737. Can you fully control the plane with an Xbox controller? Throttle levers, etc. work as they should?
@@Huddison I use only a controller for everything, that's why I asked. The PMDG 737 has problems with the throttle controls and the clickable knobs, so I'm cautious, especially at this price point. 😅 I don't mind interacting with the instruments using the virtual cursor, but the basic functions should work (flight controls, throttle, landing gear, parking brake etc).
IMO You'll enjoy it more with a mouse and keyboard on the Xbox. It was a revolution for me when I plugged in a cheap Logitech wireless mouse/keyboard into my Xbox. Being able to freelook around the cockpit by just holding the right mouse button feels so natural now.
From the internet: The aircraft is equipped with a Honeywell electronic flight instrumentation system, (EFIS) with a Smiths LED display. The main vertical panel in the flight deck houses the engine instruments and the systems controls and indicators are installed in the overhead panel. The Smiths SEP 10 autopilot and main navigation are set at eye level. BAE Systems Regional Aircraft is introducing an upgrade to older analogue displays, which will be replaced with five Rockwell Collins FPI-920 LCD. The upgrade involves the removal of the two electromechanical attitude director indicators (ADI), two electromechanical horizontal situation indicators (HSI) and two radio altitude indicators (RAI). The first customers for the upgrade were Eurowings of Germany and Air Dolomiti of Italy. OH PLEASE GIVE US EFIS!!!!!!!!!!!
Outside I just use my hat switch on my Yoke to spin around; I use the mouse middle scroll wheel to zoom in and out. This video might help: th-cam.com/video/jToegWQthBc/w-d-xo.html
I bought the 737-800 and its amazing for me as a casual simmer. So much emmersion and details. If you buy the PMDG737800, try the eyebrow windows in the system menu on the aircraft, you will not be dissapointed!✈️
I think you could potentially have more fun with the BAE as it's more analogue, it'll keep you busy during longer flights! That'll give you a couple of months of fun flying until the 737 is all patched up and performing as good as it can. Both PMDG and Just Flight are amazing devs so yeah it's hard to choose :) Cheers
I noticed bugged textures that appear to be missing or not applied properly on the 146's fuselage. It may be difficult to see, but it looks like a (transparent tape) effect. The textures appear unfinished or missing and as a result you have some surfaces appear glossy while others matte finish, does anyone know if this issue exists on PC?
I also play on the series s and after some time every screen on every aircraft turns black! I reinstalled Msfs but it’s not helping! Any suggestions? I would be soooo thankful
Id recommend you to free up more space in the disk for the sim, also delete the sim, clear the cache and download everything again but make sure that you have enough space in your console. i would keep at least 20 GB available, also check other settings in the sim that might be eating memory away like live traffic or ground assets.
One critical feature that is not included is glass avionic screens for artificial horizon and below this the electronic flight navigation compass and digital map.!!!!! Why was this left out??? You have analogue only in these aircraft. What a shame.
thanks for the video. its a amazing aircraft! and this performance on the "S" wow. i dont get autopilot to follow my waypoints on xbox series x.only hdg works. does anyone else also have that issue? set little yellow switch to nav1, ap activated, lnav activ but ap doesnt follows my flightplan, my waypoints. any idea? when i use ap it leaves my route and flying somewhere else.
@@Huddison thanks. thats what i did. autopilot always goes staight northern 360° when set to nav mode. sad. xbox series x (early access/beta xbox and msfs) other aircraft works as it should.
@@Huddison do you know what the (my) problem was? "Navigation on FMC"" was active (rolleyes 🤗) ... disabled it and all is well now. thanks and keep up the good work.
the best 3rd party aircraft always have been expensive in flightsims. they have very complicated systems to emulate. its really a huge amount of work to get that right.
Simbrief works you just have to minimize the Xbox keyboard and use the one built-in on the lower right of the iPad! I linked mine earlier
That's great - thanks 👍
This does indeed work - thanks again; you're going to be mentioned in my upcoming tutorial video for the 146 on Xbox ;)
@@Huddison you’re very welcome and thank you for the help as well! I found your channel trying to familiarize myself with the 146 so it’s a win-win! 🫡
@@Huddison how to I stop this plane from pulling left during takeoff?
