i know Christophe since he was 12 years old. I saw him grow as a Pool player and as a man. He is for ever the best french pool player of all time as Stephen Hendry is the one for the snooker. I was a Pool player during 15 years and my best rank was 17e/25000 in France. I have a lot of respect for him and what he has done and still doing for the French pool. As well, in 2023, he is Snooker French Champion as a hobby. He already made a 147 few years ago. Thanks to him and congratulations for all.
Christophe is a fantastic pool player. So enjoyable to watch and learn from. Now the world will see him on the ultimate pool stage. He’s without question on the same level as the legends of the pool world.
@@DogzEatBeez Fluke of a lifetime, i know, i know, he can't have been planning that shot but i don't like the way the commentators seem appalled and one sided hey, give the guy a break, sometimes in pool balls bounce back from no mans land and hit right where you need them to Bazinga
28:42 "Great positional shot"... another commentator classic.. a fairly ordinary shot, with a huge margin of error, but called as a great shot... #Sh1tCommentaryAsAlways
Watching Christophe Lambert play is a enjoy, he makes the game look so easy. Well done to him on the win. Still don’t like the way ultimate pool have let the snooker pros in to the pool pro league, when everyone else has to earn a place as a pool pro. Only Mark Selby has shown he belongs with the pool pros.
@@ryanyates6761 I would think all the pool players that spend thousands on the pool circuit getting the points to earn the right to turn pro. An 90% of the snooker players playing pool are not that good and very boring to watch. An they weren’t even top snooker players in the first place.
Joe O'connor and Kyren Wilson were both highly accomplished pool players before they turned over to snooker, Joe is probably the best youth pool player I've ever seen.
@@Vince_PaulI agree with Ryan. It's exposing Ultimate Pool to a wider audience and that will elevate the entire sport. Plus I think all the snooker players are contenders.Tom Ford is also going on deep runs in most tournaments. Mark Allen, Mark Williams and Stephen McGuire have only played one tournament each so it's hard to even say how well they'll do and Joe O'Connor who is the least experienced snooker player in it, is still doing about average for an Ultimate Pool Pro and very well for a young guy. I mean he was just in the Final here ffs.
For the second time of me sking, why do you commentators keep saying the word plaaaaarrrr, instead of the word plant??? The word is pronanced 'Plant', not plaaaaarrr.

42:25 - amazes me just how unlevel the table is they're playing on. There's so much drift on the cue ball towards the left side of the table.
12:34 for the crazy fluke Black pot
bet he couldn't do that twice in a row
maybe 1 out of every 10 times he makes that shot
he has the guts to go for it so you have to respect
@@Cosmos_Gypsyrun it another 100 times, and he’ll not get it again.

even Christophe looks flabbergasted after haha 12:46

Ridiculous fluke
Bravo Christophe !!!!
