The High Rollers quality is fantastic and I have greatly enjoyed both short shows you have produced (as well as your main campaign). I look forward to see more content in the future, and if they are reading these comments, I greatly encourage Wizards of the Coast to continue supporting this group. Tied for my favourite group by far with DCA.
What an amazing ending! Seriously, the way Mark can weave all the different threads together is brilliant, and this ending was extremely satisfying. Beautiful work.
I would love another campaign that has Tholschank. He was my absolute favorite character the whole series. I loved his character in the ending of even though he was a criminal and an anti-hero that he started to learn and become a hero. I loved how the ending was and it was perfect but at the same time, seeing a character you love change and be the only one who tries to be good is who gets sacrificed. He did stay Tarin’s slave but he was still trying to not have that fate on Tarin’s slave and try to save the world. I loved Tholschank and I would give anything to have him in another campaign.
Yeah I don't get that at all. Tholshank wasn't doing a good deed. He simply didn't want another to gain power in the world and fall afoul of that entire situation. He wasn't a great character but he epitomizes the idea of an anti-hero. Trying to stop Tarin based on his own selfishness and not some moral regard. Granted both he and Malice weren't anywhere near the level of evil shown by Tarin and Worthless but calling them heroes just isn't true.
The ulric diaries: chapter 7 my master held my leash too loose, for that he had my gratitude and obedience. with my emotions again set free. the desire for freedom, gave me strength. the disgust for my masters dark dealings, gave me courage. i confronted master, and took the first step towards freedom. a moment came, a gamble for another chance, with my life as the wager..... -the end-
Craziest campaign. Absolutely hooked. Waited two weeks so I could watch the last two episodes in one go, totally worth it. Mark is easily the most creative DM I've ever seen. I hope Wizards continues to work with them, they have the most entertaining content by far.
I absolutely loved this series! All of the Tomb of Annihilation stuff you’ve guys done is amazing and so much fun to watch and really makes me want to play the module. Not sure if this is the end of the TOA campaigns but thank you so much for all of your time and effort on this series!
Poor fucking Tholschank man. In the end he was the true hero of the story. He was the only one who tried to do what was best for the world. He was willing to let Ulric and Malice escape, put himself at risk. He risked everyone's wrath to prevent the world falling into chaos under Tarin and Lilith and that after having to take everyone's shit the entire campaign. He even freed Sooth in the end when he feared the worst. Malice in the end only cared for herself and her past trauma.
Agree, but you have to keep in mind, this was meant to be an anti-hero campaign. So they were supposed to be evil and do such deeds. Thol is the only one who didn't quite fit with the evilness of the rest of the group.
You mean the criminal who delighted in the pain of breaking other people's knee caps? It just astounds me that people see that as the case. He was certainly nicer than two of them. Malice wasn't exactly evil either. And he killed someone for his own benefit. It's a great ending to the story but Tholshank isn't a hero.
@MorinehtarTheBlue Being a hero has nothing to do with being a good guy. There's plenty of violent people in real life who are also champions of women, children, and rights for everyone etc. I've spent years in court ('97 - '04) for betterment of all people go8ng through domestic violence and child abuse. Done without hashtags or protesting (which is actually a violent and disreputable act that changes nothing) and we done it anonymously, saved 1000's across the Commonwealth and used 100% of raised capital to start charities. I'm literally regarded as a hero, there's books and an 2 plays made after me. I'm still just a barely decent guy who capable of violence, especially in the face of protection or business. Hero and being bad are not mutually exclusive
This was such a good ending omg....I'm so happy with this ending Dead Reckoning was more than i could've hoped for! The High Rollers crew is so committed to RP and I love all the content they put out.
It's always sad to see these smaller campaigns end. Been a great ride guys, thanks for all the entertainment throughout this mini-series I had a lot of fun watching. Such a shame to see these interesting characters go, possibly forever. I now need something new to be able to forget about the end of something great. Wizards please let there be more of High Rollers!
That ending took me a bit by surprise (poor Tholschank). However, it was also absolutely amazing in every way possible. I feel that was the perfect conclusion to an anti-hero campaign, and I can't wait for the next one (anti-hero or not).
Finally caught up, such an amazing campaign, sad to see it ends. If by any opportunity in the future, I would love to see wizards work with the high rollers again.
PLEASE DO A SEQUEL !!! I have watched every episode of high rollers on yogslive and all the high rollers crew content on this channel and NEED MORE !!! PS that ending was amazing, I feel for Tol but would love to see Tarin and Lilith take over the forgotten realms :)
If there's a sequel of this please let it be of Worthless and her daughter Hope on Chult as oh man would that be something else and so much drama between mother and daughter. And better yet the fact that when both reach the Soulmonger someone's gonna probably die either with Worthless having to impale her daughter with a spear or Hope running her mother through with a sword. But overall I hope there's a Worthless and Hope campaign on Chult and otherwise great anti-hero campaign :)
It's Marks spin on a homebrew campaign leading up to the events of the Tomb of Annihilation. Unless you're playing Adventurers League you can always make it part of your own campaign or ask your DM to incorporate elements of it. If you're playing Adventurers League you can't use this, unless Wizards of the Coast decide to implement it into the main story which I doubt they will.
I meant is dead reckoning the live streamed campaign series series the same canon as uncharted territories the live streamed campaign series both by High Rollers and in witch case we know neither Worthless nor Hope make it to the soul monger because they were not there during uncharted territories. (of course they were not made yet but still) tldr. I said uncharted territories canon not tomb of annihilation canon in witch both of the campaigns are as canon as yours or mine.
What a great adventure. That is how you tell a good story, 12 episodes, not hundreds like others do. That should be DMing 101, every story has to end before it spoils.
I've loved it all apart from the lack of combat. I know more seasoned players like the rp, and I enjoy it as well, but as a new viewer and a new player . . . to go hours without actually playing the game part of the game is driving me a bit crazy!
Pfft, Tholschank has Soot ram the stupid paladin in the gut and puts the sword from his cane through Tarin's eye, finishing off those last 4 hit points.
So are we gonna get a continuation of dead reckoning where the cambian child is grown and get to see malice Ulrich and worthless back to fight tarin????
I'm all for theater of the mind but they could save themselves so much hassle and time if they'd just have even the simplest of sketched out maps. Even a post it note they could point at. When they have literally nothing to orient themselves with they end up with 5 different pictures how a situation is arranged and where they all are then anytime one of the players wants to do something they spend 2-3 minutes re-covering the lay out. P.S. The caster of the Zone of Truth knows who passes or doesn't pass the saving throw.
I felt sorry for Tholschank. But at the same time Trott played that last bit so Well.
Tholschank putting the hero in antihero
Man, dat ending! Such drama! Wizards, if you cannot see why High Rollers is one of the best D&D streams out there, all hope is lost for you.
Great ending. Well done everyone and especially well done Mark for your amazing DMing. Please don't ever quit!!

This could not have ended more perfectly.
The ulric diaries: chapter 7
my master held my leash too loose, for that he had my gratitude and obedience.
with my emotions again set free. the desire for freedom, gave me strength.
the disgust for my masters dark dealings, gave me courage.
i confronted master, and took the first step towards freedom.

Underrated comment
NEED MOAR PLZ!!!
I love this shit. Do a sequel please

So Tarin and Lilith go on to raise the Antichrist? XD
Maybe not, but definitely someone quallified to be the final boss in another group's adventure.
I want a squeal please wizards please
Peter Barrett agreed! These mini-campaigns around Tomb of Annihilation are so much fun to watch.
First, the Tomb of Annihilation prequel. Next, the Tomb of Annihilation Sequel!
I would love to see a co dm with trott as the bbeg
The plot twist at the end lol, I loved it! Please have more of these guys on the channel!!!!!
Listened to this during corona. As soon as they said callus my immediate thought was star bane
I would love to see more of these high rollers mini-campaigns on the D&D channel!
Great ending! Hope that Wizards of the Coast continue supporting High Rollers as each series they produce is amazing
This was such a good ending omg....I'm so happy with this ending Dead Reckoning was more than i could've hoped for! The High Rollers crew is so committed to RP and I love all the content they put out.
Mark is such an inspiration for my GMing too lol
On a trip right now, and I've waited for this all day
A sequel is definitely needed
BONUS ACTION CRY!!!! It has to be the funniest quote of the whole series!!!!
Damn, didn't expect it, but holy smokes that ending was amazing. Most stories can't pull off a great ending but that one was awesome.
Loved that ending so much tallshank R.I.P
They ACTUALLY posted on time, this is great!

That was probably the best episode of d&d for a long time.
I WANNA SEE MORE HIGHROLLERS ON THIS CHANNEL, WIZARDS.
YES. OMG THAT WAS SOOOO GOOD. I am SO happy with the outcome. (Except poor Thol, but he dug that himself lol)
What an ending great series! Thank you for doing this.
Hope 2 see these new characters some day
PLEASE DO A SEQUEL !!!
I have watched every episode of high rollers on yogslive and all the high rollers crew content on this channel and NEED MORE !!!

Pretty sure that Tholschank had the notes when he was being shifted. Adventure not over!
No, Malice took them from him with her fan at his throat.
10/10, 5 stars, best mini series yet.
sad its over, was loving these characters. want there to be more. ah well, well done everyone!
Oh how I and so many others wish we could join this small band. Awsome work high rollers.
I hope they do another one of these few later. Tarin is one of my fave characters in all high rollers

And tholshank is revived for comedy
This was fantastic. I would love to see more of the Highrollers on the Dungeons & Dragons' channel. So Wizards, if you see this, please make it happen
I cannot word how amazing that last 20mins was... sweet Cheesus Mark i dont know how you got them there but if that was the plan all along bravo
Such an epic ending , oboi, what happens next!
Keep on rolling high, and slay you comrades!
this is still my favorite dnd stream ever.
Loved this series, HR amazing as always, come on Wizards give Mark whatever he wants :P
I think I am going to rewatch this simply for the reason that a high viewer count will mean a increased chance for a seqaul
I need a Sequel to this, Wizards let the Highrollers do the thing.
Hey Mike Mearls, or Greg Tito, or Chris Perkins... we want MORE High Roller on the D&D channel!!!
Is Tom dabbing in the thumbnail
such a good ending
Haha! Yes Tarinnnn!!! Poor poor Tom XD
That was an absolutely freaking amazing ending haha
Holy crap what an ending well done guys
"Thom Haze(elf,elf)"
Can't wait for the cambion ruled future
Tarin and Worthless turn to evil and Tholshank and Malice turn to good in the end.
On top of that, Malice and Tarin get a happy ending, but Tholshank and Worthless get the bad ending.
@@cyborgstar I'm not sure about worthless she's getting to see her daughter again I think she'd find it worth everything
THAT ENDING

Ulric just forgot the gift Worthless gave him...
Wow! What an ending!

Oh my god. This was amazing.
That was brilliant!!!!!
i want more lore from this story
like prequels and more inportent sequels
fucking loved the end 10/10 would let tarin consume my soul...
More High Rollers please
Great stuff.
Wow. That Was A Fucked Up Ending.

That beginning was so frustrating.
Wow, that's beatiful

Oh.My.God.
So are we gonna get a continuation of dead reckoning where the cambian child is grown and get to see malice Ulrich and worthless back to fight tarin????
noooo thol
Only 360p quality??
do a reload of the page it should pop up at 1080

Sequel!

Tholschank is not the best at rogue-ing. As a rogue, sneak attack is your main deal in combat, stick to it when you can.
soot! no!
what an ending! Anyone thinking that Tarin's kid has something to do with Crownrend?
Considering the Lightfall campaign takes place in their own setting and not the Forgotten Realms like this does, no.
