    customers should stop paying cash to use the trian. The staff there are just pocketing money that will lead to the ruin of it. Cowry card must be introduced

      It's because NRC is run by the federal Government. They are still years away from Lagos state.

    It's all fine and good that the Nigerian economy as well as the LASG are seeing the immense benefit of cargo delivery via rail systems, but what is the solution to removing these trailers along Tin can port at Apapa to make that road way commutable once again for cars ??

    This is good News, it will get better and they will learn more , now that it has started. This is the only way we can achieve speed of delivery, safety on the road, and the damages on the road from trucks will be reduced.

    Wake me up when the rail moves cargo on the eastern corridor.... it seems that the plan had always been to make Lagos the only functional port.

      You sound stupid. Go and ask ipob and esn to extend the rail to Eastern corridor. Your president nnamdi is capable of flagging off the project.

      This is a great step moving forward. The Apapa region is an eyesore because of the number of trucks and tankers damaging roads in reducing the socio-economic well being of the citizens.
      It’s high time we shifted to rail services to convey freights.
      Also, providing security measures for the railway services is highly needed on the tracks to foster economic growth and development.
      I plead with the FG and NRC not to shy away from Electrification of the rail tracks. On a sincere note, we are long overdue.
      If Lagos blue can run on electric tracks, the federal line should be no exception.
      Welldone Mr Fidet Okhiria.
      Thanks to the organizers of this platform

      How is the plan keeping only lagos pot functional

    • @izuchukwuezukanma1132
      @izuchukwuezukanma1132 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@ayantolasaheed7425 very simple: please point me to a single investment on the Eastern seaboard and ports. While Lagos port is connected with both narrow and standard gauge rail lines, there's no functional rail track on the Eastern corridor of the Nigerian Railway Corporation.

      @@izuchukwuezukanma1132 GEJ and okonjo iweala,emefiele,Stella odun, Allyson madueke had 6years to achieve but did nothing, yorubas voted them out,buhari and osinbajo came in and connected Lagos to Ibadan with standard Guage...whose fault is that?
