@@valiantwarrior1988 I don’t do COD because I realise Hylos quite squishy as the game progresses and COD does not mitigate specific damage (except for higher HP against true damage) . Eg. I use antique cuirass against skill-based damage fighter.
Imagine Elegant Gem as an item that lets you build in any other item. It's cheap and gold efficient. Completing it will just get you Clock of Destiny, which is just pure stats. Getting another passive like Black Ice Shield, Beetle Boots, or Molten Essence, those provide passives with higher utility than Clock of Destiny

It's definitely reduced by lifebane. They say Valir is counter for hylos but the truth is, it's evenly matched. The best way to counter Valir with Hylos is to simply lean on the wall near Valir. He can't push you far away if there's a wall. Then avoid his 1st skill as much as possible.
@@riskyermantorosalim As answered by fellow friend below. It gets reduced together by lifebane. I am still testing out if Elegant Gem is a must have even if in a losing position. What I come to conclude is that I do give up Thunder Belt in a losing game and go for specific tank items
