Elast is literally the most unique rookies in a very long time
i couldn't agree more... there haven't been any rookies like them for a while now so they are really special to me~
Yeah most unique definitely and I think this is gonna be one of my ults, but since ATEEZ they are definitely some of the best rookies. and thats on periodt
We've been getting a couple unique groups in 2020 and I'm living for it.
Yeah their concept is epic fantasy mix of Vixx and Ateez in my oppinion ang giving that they bias Ateez so much I am not suprised

The music style also reminds me of early 3rd gen. They are so criminally underrated, it really hurts me that they are not nominated for rookies of the year. Not to mention they are a great example that even with a smaller budget you can make great music videos. They also sing live live, their mic feeds are always poppin' which is something that I appreciate a lot.
yes you are so right! sadly it's really hard to win any awards when you're from a smaller company and many people only pay attention to those groups who are already famous which is sad but well it's also their loss because E'LAST are awesome! there is noone like E'LAST uwu

What E'last is doing is the same as OnlyOneOf. They are making art not kpop. And I'm so proud to be part of their growth since debute
yes yes yes! and both are painfully underrated especially because they have a different style than everyone else... imo that's the reason why they stand out to me but sadly many people only like to listen to mainstream stuff (there's nothing wrong with that i listen to popular music too but they often don't even give smaller artists a listen...)
I stan E’last and OnlyOneOf are one of my ult groups. Both groups have such a intricate sound that is vastly different then your typically Kpop song. Don’t get me wrong I love lots of “typical Kpop songs” but those two group really have something extra special.

This comeback really solidified them being my favorite male rookies of 2020.
To be honest, this is my favorite rookie of the year. I like other rookies when it comes to trendy music, but nothing compares to the sound that E'last has... I really hope they gain a stable fanbase.
This is the first that I'm hearing of E'LAST, and I am impressed. This is the type of music that I haven't been able to find recently, but that is a good thing. It is refreshing to hear the old sound in the new generation. They are going to be one of the first rookie groups that I have looked into in a while because of that.

Imma be honest, at first I only knew E'Last as that group that has Ateez fanboys (which I absolutely get btw)... but I gotta give it to them, I learned really quick that they are so much more that that, they really are able to stand for themselves and are making a name for themselves!
Their songs are amazing, the vocals so powerful, the dance hypnotising... what more do you want?

Can you give me list with things I can watch to get to know them also why the fandom name is ELRING? Currently I can only recognise Won Hyuk because he just grabbed me with his insane charisma emotional rap and amazing vocals,Choi in and Rano because of the hair and face,Wonjun because of the rap and Romin because he like Won Hyuk have these energy that is impossible to ignore

Their fandom name was chosen from a contest that fans could send in their names and ideas. elring basically has the meaning of a promise that anytime e’last “rings”, fans will come to them!

This song is so extravagant in its composition. "Score" is exactly right. It's so over the top, but still beautiful. I hadn't seen E'Last's debut and watched this song on a whim. Glad I did.
not only do they have their own sound but what impressed me so much about this group is their live vocals! so good!
they all have such beautiful and awesome vocals! i was so suprised when i heard them sing live for the first time! their vocals are even better than some groups who have been active much longer then them (i don't want to sound mean but they really have powerful vocalists!!)

I saw their performances on music shows and loved the white haired guy's rapping - I loved the emotion he conveys in his voice, he kind of intentionally breaks his voice and it's almost like he's really yelling to get those feelings out, turns out he was a main vocalist, craaazy. Also, the chorus is so beautiful.
Reminds me of the type of songs that Infinite used to do. Nobody is filling that hole for me since they have been inactive. This group might do it omgggg

Wonhyuk and Rano are easily two of my favorite rappers already. It's weird for me because I'm normally more of a vocal type of person but these two blew my mind this comeback.

Thank you for reacting to them! I liked Swear but I found Tears of Chaos even better. It feels like some kind of advanced form of their debut song and I found it so great. Their sound is so fresh. I agree with you it's really what have been missing these years in kpop. And they pull off this epic & dramatic concept with an orchestral sound so well. I've felt those emotions they worked on to convey in their singing and mv. On a side note I appreciate their vocals a lot I think there's a lot of things to do with such a vocal line. Their live performances are also getting better. They have an interesting evolution. I enjoyed their B-Sides as well. They're really trying out many sounds and are absolutely phenomenal when it comes to ballads. Overall their sound may not be the most trendy sound overall but... That's why I love it.
E'last debut with a sound so unique, so elegant, a sound that we hadn't heard before, that it would have been disappointing if they hadn't continued with that That it would have been disappointing if they hadn't continued with that sound

E'last being so underrated even after coming back with this masterpiece :'( their only hope for this comeback is to perform full song on music shows but they still can't achieve it. please consider stanning them and join the fandom so that they can achieve all of their dreams slowly.
They only have 2 title tracks so far, but have already developed their own style/sound that makes them stand out and aren't following the trend. Tears of Chaos is such a good song. The vocals were so good and they were even missing one of their rappers for this comeback so the blondie vocalist rapped and you would think he was a lead/main rapper when he's the main vocalist or at least lead I believe.
So happy, that the music video reached a million views and they’re gaining a solid fan base

I was waiting for this reaction, i really wanted to see you react to tears of chaos and heard your opinion about this comeback. I'm really glad that you like it. E'last caught my attention and i'm so close to stan them, their title tracks gives me a feelling that no other songs gives.
I stan so many groups and thats difficult to me to stan E'last, but i hope that one day i will able to do that, becouse they are so unice and i really like their songs, but at the moment i'm just a casual listener.

also, you should check out the choreography to this, its just as breathtaking. it also looks like it's telling a story and that's what I love about it the most
their live stages are SO. GOOD. and this part especifically 6:53 is heavenly because you can clearly hear their vocals and it gives me chills everytime.

Won Hyuk the main vocalist that casually fogets his position and becomes main rapper and dancer [ of course chanelling his inner San XD]
They are fairly unique in the k-pop world, but the instrumentation and arrangement of this track really reminds me a lot of the more symphonic side of j-pop and j-rock, so if you like this kind of style, there's a whole world of great music out there waiting for you.

I honestly don't get why they are so unknown. They have a very unique sound, amazing live vocals, extremely sharp movements when dancing. I've hardly seen them mess up.
Even in their Intro (if your listening to their albums), you couldn't skip it because it so amazing to hear and it's not tiring to hear because it can relax you :')

if E'LAST continue to release music that is different from others i think they'll become more and more popular over time !! i remember that pd ones said that it's important for a group to define their style because you can easily recognize them that way which makes it even more special (i can't really describe it because i'm not a native speaker) and i love love love that! that's why E'LAST are now one of my all time favourite groups uwu

I couldn't agree more with you. Their concept is beautiful, their music is elegant and it personally makes me feel like in a dream or some kind of wonderland, they are very unique and talented, I hope that in the future more people will be able to recognize them, they're becoming one of my favorite groups ever
i thought you weren't going to react to this i'm so glad you did!! the way you explained your thoughts is so clear and exactly what I've felt and wanted to say about it. it's so grand and yet so simple. they're telling stories in a classic way, as a modern group. i'm sure at some point they'll change concepts and try new things, but this is an incredible start and premise as a debut and comeback, i'm so proud of them.

I agree with everything you said about the composition and uniqueness in today’s kpop. The only group that comes close is ateez but they’re still “too modern” in production
also, like you mentioned, the vocals focus on the emotion so fyi seungyeob, the one that sings first in the last chorus, trained as a musical singer before becoming an idol trainee so his voice is a huge addition to the group’s sound in my opinion

Im so glad we were on the same page. With both their debut and this song i was like... i feel like im listening to nu'est or shinee or early exo. Tho it does have some modern vibes. Like in the production. Like every once and a while i get sf9 or Vav vibes. Which works for me cus i love all those groups. And im totally planning on stanning e'last now.

Yes. I'm glad I found them last month and I'm glad they have this orchestral, elegant sound! One of my most preferred genre (even I got into Dreamcatcher because of Deja Vu and not their older title tracks).
