Today, We will be plugging in a usb that has dangerous viruses on it. These malwares were placed on a usb that was within an eBay Mystery Box. This is how a USB gave me a computer virus.

This is the first time I've seen ransomware that detected a virtual moniter then spread to the main PC! I wish Kevin had made a longer video and showed how he fixed that...or if!

@@shibershab Sometimes that's not enough, I'd rather run a VM in a VM in a VM on a secondary computer with nothing on it that I don't mind being destroyed. Disconnected from the internet

@@Tavemanic nope wrong you need a vm, in a vm, which is also in another vm with another vm and you will need to ensure you are not connected to any network internet or local.
Imagine being called an idiot over and over again by a rude virus and feeling smug about your virtual machine only to find out the virus is smart enough to detect & get pass virtual machines 😥

A virtual machine has it's own partition. Even if the virus managed to write over into your Mac hard drive, executing an installation requires password authentication and usually, being a virus, will never ask you to authenticate an install of something knowing it to be destructive.

If those files were seriously real and not just a "For fun" VM. You got to be careful man, these files can be doing more than what you can see. They can upload all files from C:\users\$user or any other specified location. Then the hacker has those files now IF THAT WAS PART OF THE CODING

Normally, when a malware detects a VM It just refuses to open. It can't leak to the host PC unless it is a worm or the "Shared Folder" function is on
Maybe next time you should make a virtual machine, and then make another virtual machine in that virtual machine to be safe
