In most cases black women are involved in conversations about why men cheat and we’re the worst group of people to ask. Not because of lack of experiences in general, but lack of experiencing various different black men or dating outside their race enough. I would even say being around a diverse group of men who you don’t or haven’t dated helps. In black communities cheating seems to be the norm but it’s not like that in every environment and as opposed to assuming that’s the reality everywhere we should seek to put ourselves in different rooms where it’s not the norm.

I disagree. While "emotional cheating" can be damaging to a man, the actual physical act of her having sex with another man is far worse because her body should be for her husband only. The betrayal of her having sex with another man is what men think about. The picture of that in a man's mind once it's discovered is heavy. If she simply had an emotional connection to another man without sex, it's different. Not saying that's a good thing and for real that could lead to sex anyway, but in comparison by themselves, the sex part will mess a man's head up more. We're not necessarily thinking about what emotional conversations they had.
