- Our next guest in the hot seat is Esther Boykin. She’s a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with 15 years of experience under her belt. She’s the CEO of Therapy Is Not A Dirty Word, a mental health service providing support for those often neglected or underserved in today’s society.
We can see that she’s got a great thing going, so what’s the problem?!
You see, Esther is in the thick of a very important transition within her business. She’s shifting away from an unsustainable business model, and adapting for a new ideal customer. But is this the right decision? And if so, how can she overcome those feelings of self-doubt?
Rebranding your business is always hard. But that’s why Rachel Rodgers is here to map out a step-by-step process for Esther to follow.
Together, they discuss:
When is the best time to rebrand?
Finding your ideal client
How to raise your prices (without scaring people off)
How to avoid distraction “from the shiny things”
Working out the math behind your business
How to scale by 3.5 x
How marketing will fuel this rebrand
After this absolute masterclass, Esther herself said, “I should have done this years ago.” So if you’re sitting on the fence, unsure about taking the jump, THIS is your sign. Get ready for a step-by-step guide, and let’s get started!

A beautiful vulnerable conversation about the rooted belief that our mission is only to serve others. Change makers need to understand that their mission is also there to serve them in every way. To help them thrive. Your mission always comes in a package deal. ❤
As a psychotherapist in Canada - Facing similar issues; so relatable and frustrating. If we were in the same goegraphical location, I'd have considered partnering with her to build an empire of a practice.
Anyone else thinking of increasing your prices but afraid to take the jump? We hope you found this episode useful!
Son extremely useful. You gave me my whole ggameplay. Sooo valuable.
Love this episode so much. I’m a clinical psychologist and what was shared deeply resonated with me!
So many gems 💎 in this episode I felt like I was in a session
I’m a Psychotherapist and I approve this message! 🚀
These sessions are so helpful. I started watching a few weeks ago and I have made so much progress in my business. With gratitude!
Glad you like them!
I’m not sure if it helps at all, but my therapist only accepts self paying clients and she’s licensed in several states and offers telehealth therapy. This could also help her to reach a broader audience.
I love all of these videos! Thank you for sharing them !
Glad you like them!
Looking forward to listen to this episode as a therapist
Another awesome episode, keep up the great work!!!!
Quite interesting
Love this episode as a life coaching academy founder most of our clients are former and current therapist seeking change. I am glad to help even though I’m not a therapist. You are absolutely correct about the other organizations. I have tried them as well and they don’t fit well with me and people like me.
Thanks for sharing!!
