NIF MOUNTAIN PEAK WALK

Last weekend, on December 11, 2022, we successfully completed the Nif Mountain Peak Walk in İzmir Buca with the İKCU DAT Group. Another good thing about our hike was that it coincided with December 11, International Mountain Day. Happy mountain day to all mountaineers 😊
On Saturday, we hiked up to a certain point of Mount Nif. After reaching the campsite, we created the camp layout and set up our tents. Then a nice rain started. We built a water heating facility, a living facility, and a time travel facility to light our fire and use it in the camping area. For those who are curious about the time travel facility, welcome to the video 😂 The night ended after the evening walk, cave visits and nice conversations.
In the morning, our most difficult journey to the peak began. Our journey to the peak continued through roads, slopes, hills, streams, fog, rain and strong storms. As we approached the peak, we could feel the fury of nature. Despite this, everyone resisted and he reached the top! The descent to the peak was just as difficult. We returned to the campsite, soaking wet, cold and tired. We put on our spare clothes and rested in the tent until the rain subsided. When the rain subsided, we collected the campsite and our garbage and returned to Kaynaklar Village. Please let's not leave any traces in nature other than footprints!
It was a very challenging hike for everyone. However, as the İKCU DAT community, we completed the march safely. It was a challenging but beautiful experience. Hope to see you at the next peak.
