Alvarez is a lucky lad, he was in the World Cup-winning team as well as the treble-winning team, so many people are in favor of him that's why I added him. It’s not just his goals. Watch him! His all round play is superb. He brings players into the attack, his passing range is magnificent and he’s very subtle in the way he moves. He’s the complete striker and he’s a very down to earth, humble man. Too many, top striker, to signing.

He's going to be England's top scorer by about a 30-goal margin by the time he finishes and would quite clearly have taken the all-time PL scorer title if he had stayed in the league - and all in a Spurs side that barely ever finished top four.

Not gonna lie, Kane in Bayern is some kind of image of what level he would perform in teams like Man City. I'm so glad we decided to sell him to Germany rather than to our direct rivals.
I wonder how much we held him back at Spurs under more defensive minded managers though.
Kane has never benefited from playing in an elite attacking team, either domestically or internationally.
The fact that he still managed 30 league goals in that defensive Spurs team last season... only 6 behind Haaland who was playing in an elite super team, is way more impressive imo.
Put Kane in that City team, and he would at the least, match Haaland's record, but I reckon he would score more, he's a lethal finisher and we've seen how many sitters Haaland misses.

@@yoshuareynaldo2295 Poch wasn't super offensive. His key was having strong midfield with dembele running mid in double pivot, and very strong press, and attacking on the counter. But less park the bus style than Mourinho, since Pochs team had Ali (in excellent form) and Eriksen so it still had attacking flair, along with very good wing backs (walker, trippier, in-form Rose). I remember the one weakness of Poch Spurs was when it was a lower rank team who parked the bus, and then Spurs had very high possession, they always struggled to score (and they would always have those seasons where they beat top teams, but then lose to bottom teams).
@@Jez4prez1 No one said it was super-offensive though, just offensive. I know that Poch tend to sit deeper than Pool as well when defending. And you probably meant Mousa Dembele than Ndombele, since Poch didn't use him that much in his final year.

True but it is nice to see every now and then a player of this quality not play for a huge club like Real Madrid or Manchester United. He got to turn both of them down and is now showing his class in the Bundesliga

I love that after every goal the first thing he does is kiss his wedding ring. He says it's to give a little something back to his family who have supported himt hrough thick and thin for so long. A real man right there.
I'm so glad he's gone to a massive club that win competitions so often and is finally proving that he is actually a world class striker despite the doubters that put him down.
And so much of it is hard work- he was never a wonderkid, people weren't sure whether to keep him or let him got at Spurs when he was coming to first team age. Then he apparently just worked like hell at all the attributes he needed and became one of the best in the world.

La Liga has some of the worst midtable and bottom table teams of the top 5 leagues, and he was only doing that with good players around him, just as Kane and Lewandowski have. Liverpool far from the best? Liverpool is the most decorated English club and almost always in contention for the title, cmon now. Lastly, Bayern is not the “kings of the country”, a lot of teams in the Bundesliga can challenge and beat Bayern. Lewandowski scored so many goals because he was a good striker. Before Bayern, he played for Dortmund, and won the league twice and was top scorer. Of course, I wouldn’t expect someone who just began watching football last month to understand that. Lewandowski also scored 22 La Liga goals last season and won the title with Barcelona, so moot point.
