This show is just showcasing every desire that we as human beings have; wanting to be loved and accepted by those we care about, being afraid that our dark side will scare those loved ones away, wanting to feel at home and finding that home in a person instead of a place...the list keeps going! And he is the DEVIL! But we come to realize that he is just a lost soul like the rest of us, and deep down he wants to be good; to belong somewhere and feel at peace, like he never did with his family. How crazy is it that these writers are making THE DEVIL relatable?!
freeleigh -I know, right? The writers are geniuses! I love watching Lucifer as he explores the roller coaster ride of situations and emotions humans have to understand and deal with, sometimes in everyday life. Watching this show makes me feel empathy for this character, the devil of all people! I hope they have plenty of awesome episodes left to tell.
Mark Twain said "Who in 18 centuries has thought of praying for the one sinner who needed it most?" ... I myself aren't a religious person and so I don't believe in the devil but I've always had that thought, God cares for everyone, including Lucifer that is the reason why he hasn't wiped him out of existence of course, so if God cares why don't we? But anyways that's just a random debate which I am not bothered to start. Also I agree with your whole statement, it's on point!
You captured every incredibly deep moment between them in one video! I love the vulnerability we are getting to see of both lucifer and chloe this season those writers are doing such a fantastic job. This show has made me cry on more than one occasion

Religions encourage caring about people and not judging because there is only one judge, so why not care about everyone? God does not destroy the Devil, seems to me like he cares. I am not interested in a debate because I don't have time but I just thought that was an interesting thought by one of the commenters on this video.
