Science experiment |How to make an Electromagnet

An insulated copper wire is wound around an iron screw .Both ends of wire are connected to the terminals of a cell. When circuit is closed current flows through the coil, Magnetic field is generated around the coil. The system of this coil and screw is called an electromagnet.
