  • In a world where small-scale ventures often grapple with the challenges of expansion, the triumphant launch of ‘Dough Re Me Bakes', new kiosk at the ISUZU Showroom, Duncan Basti, Established in 2019 against the backdrop of a global pandemic, Dough Re Me Bakes exemplifies the indomitable spirit of innovation and resilience.
Starting its journey in Kohima, the brand has swiftly carved a niche for itself in Dimapur within a mere span of six months. A venture rooted in family values and collective growth, it's been steered under the passionate leadership of Mesenla Longkumar. Joining her in this entrepreneurial expedition is her husband, T John Longkumer, former DGP of Nagaland.
The brand's name, Dough Re Me Bakes, combines the essence of baking, embodied in 'dough', and a sentimental touch, derived from Mesenla's initials - 'Re Me'. This venture is more than just a business; it's a family legacy. With three decades of passionate baking as a hobby, it's no surprise that what started as a home delivery service is now poised to unveil a state-of-the-art store on September 11 at Chumukedima 3rd Mile.
The brand's claim to fame isn't just limited to their delectable cream rolls, which fly off their shelves at record speed. Their foray into high-profile catering has seen them serve prestigious events, including the G20 summit and the Vice President of India's visit to Nagaland.
A dedication to quality and health remains paramount to Dough Re Me Bakes. Certified and licensed by FSSAI, and their commitment to health-conscious choices. The brand's ethos resonates with a broader message - promoting well-being through culinary delights. The team, an amalgamation of experienced family members and vibrant young enthusiasts, collaboratively shoulder responsibilities, from resource allocation to brand marketing, all in the quest to elevate customer satisfaction. Dedication for the same was pronounced by Evangelist, Living Word Church, Daniel which was graced by well-wishers and family

Keep going, Sir and Mam! And try to compete the Popular Bakery. If a man from Kerala could come and do it in our place, then why not us. Coz we are Nagas, we can do what ever we want, it's our home land so let's not give chance to the out siders to dominate us in every field, and so wish you all the best 👍💯

Problem is it's too high fi looking shop, though the prices might be reasonable most parents would rather buy from popular bakery cowboy style. Naga perception is if it's high fi looking it must be expensive.

Till now the best croissant that I have ever had in nagaland was EteE cafés croissant in kohima. I haven’t tasted Dough Re Me bakes one though.
Thanks to The Dough Re Me bakes for opening a good Healthy bakery … to be honest the popular bakery and A to Z bakery in dim is just a namesake bakery . I hardly buy from all these bakery .
But looking forward for a healthy hygienic bakery from you guys .

Why is kohima better in doing and starting a business ? Why is it better than the rest of the district, for sure the people from other district also would love to eat your bake products, but kohima will give you more and a better prospect, why ? Do anyone knows it.

Great, leftovers not sold the next day, that's really healthy . Excellent job. But where does the leftover food go? Will you please think of giving it to the poor??. I always wished that people in food business would not waste but feed the poor with their surplus, some may say leftovers but,it's ok food is food.
