Joshua 10:5-14
The Sun stands still.
* Be realistic. Expect miracles everyday.
1. God’s trustworthy Promise. V8
- 5 kings & armies vs Israelites
- God caused a hailstorm
- The promise of God is the Word of God. Meditate and obey.
2. Israel’s determined Perseverance. V10-11.
- Joshua 18: 5/12 of the tribes got their inheritance
- 2 Kings 13.
- God wants to give us more than what we settle for.
3. Joshua’s audacious Prayer. V12-14
- God is not intimidated nor bothered by our ‘longshot’ or ‘mountain-moving’ prayers.
- Jabez’ prayer at 1 Chronicles 4:10
* The audacity of our prayers is never to overcome God’s capacity to respond.
