In 2020, the Trump Administration established a voluntary, time-limited model under the Center for Medicare and Medicaid Innovation known as the Part D Senior Savings Model. Under this model, participating Medicare Part D prescription drug plans covered at least one of each dosage form and type of insulin product at no more than $35 per month. The model was in effect from 2021 through 2023, and less than half of all Part D plans chose to participate in each year. What did the Biden Administration do? A lot of people don’t know, or have forgotten, that the US used to have County hospitals. These were funded by the counties, but also by patients health insurance (if they had any, not everyone did). If someone needed medical care, the first call was their own doctor, and normally an appointment could be that same day. Hospitals were used for actual emergencies or times when your regular doctor wasn’t available (nights, weekends for instance). Immigration is the biggest challenge this country will face for the next two presidents! It will touch every aspect of our lives. From the moment an individual illegally crosses that border, they become a burden to the tax paying citizens who have already been putting their hard earned money into the hands of the government! Everything will be much more expensive than it is today! The immigration crisis will continue to foul up the already convoluted education system. Healthcare is going to be difficult even if by some magical measure they do come up with a plan. Long lines and limited services because of that. The economy will be affected too. Prices are going to continue rising at the gas station and grocery stores. While wages may go up, the price of everything will continue to go up faster. If the government decides to give a bunch of money to people so they can buy homes, that comes directly out of our pockets and now my kid can’t afford to buy a home. I won’t go into what will happen to property values. But they will still want us to pay back our loans and cover our property taxes. It will reek of communism. Price gouging? What we have now are legalized drug pushers who work for Big Pharma.
@@robinmanganiello6205 if you want the full story.... it wasn't just the $8 raise, I was able to buy a 4 bedroom 3 bathroom house on a half acre lot (paying less for my mortgage than I was for rent), I bought a brand new car with cash ( 8 miles on it when I drove it off the lot), I also got to stop working to spend time with our sons because my union worker husband was able to finally support our 5 person household with just his income. He has cleared $120,000 a year for the last 2 years and is on track a 3rd year of that pay, when Trump was in office he made less than half that and spent half the year on unemployment every year Trump was in office! Yeah some groceries and gas may be a bit more expensive, but that is because of price gouging, something Harris has said she will be investigating and putting a stop to. The grocery monopolies and the oil monopolies are at a point where they have all banded together to increase the price to the consumer. At the same time they are making record profits. We are producing domestic oil at the highest rate ever in history and yet we are still paying more at the pump, Trump's answer to drill baby drill isn't going to fix that we're already producing the most we have ever produced and we're still being gouged by the companies while they make record profits. At the end of the day, I respect the fact that you can vote for whoever you feel is going to do best, I may not like the person you want to vote for and you may not like the person that I want to vote for, but we have a right and a responsibility to do the research and pick the candidate we feel is going to do best. So maybe instead of listening to what Fox News and news Max and Trump and Vance want to say, maybe you should actually go look into some of the things that they say. Because the majority of what comes out of their mouth is lies and at best you might get half truths. I'm not saying that Trump was a bad president, I did not agree with everything he did, but he could have been worse. The problem is that the man that ran in 2016 is not the man that's running now. The man that's running now tried to overthrow the government because he lost an election, a fair election. The man that's running now tried over 60 times in the 48 months that he was president to get rid of the affordable Care act and even now when he is out of office and has been out of office for four full years he still only has concepts of a plan to replace the thing that he tried to get rid of more than once a month while he was president. There was a bipartisan border deal that would have stopped the flow of immigration. A bill I might add that was presented by a Republican it was drafted by a Republican and he worked hard not only to get his own people on board with it but to get the people on the other side of the aisle on board with it and he had the support to get it passed until Trump decided he wanted to continue to run on immigration. Trump praises the most ruthless dictators of the world saying things like their good guys and really smart with how they run their countries. Anyone who thinks living under a dictator is glorious, I would very much suggest you take a visit to those countries and not the tourist areas of those countries but the areas that they don't want you to go to because those are the areas where the people are repressed and starving and get shot when they step out of line. That is the reality of living under a dictator.

We’ll end up with two choices of toothpaste. Minty and regular. The sensitive or whitening stuff? Nope. (Wait until you need to go to the dentist!)
So, buckle up, Buttercup. Whoever wins has a big job.
The US is the only major country without a health care system. We have a health care industry, though, which is quite helpful if you suffer from erectile dysfunction or male pattern baldness.
Do you really want more socialism? And look at the inefficiency of government-controlled healthcare: the UK is an example. It will cost twice as much for less quality.
@@silva777 what is that argument though? You won't do anything if it's related to socialism? If socialism tells you to breathe, do you drown yourself?
We have the best health care in the world. Your sort confuse health care with an overpriced insurance scheme like ObamaCare, which is a disaster. The best solution is to let the free markets work. Costs would come way down. It's NOT the government's job to run health care.
You say that like it's a bad thing
@@JohnB-nq4jsIt is a bad thing, in countries with a "health care system", people die waiting for an appointment to see a doctor. We need to return to the days of no government interference when we had the best medical care from doctors who were doctors for the right reasons and care was affordable, and mostly drug free. What we have now are legalized drug pushers who work for Big Pharma.
How can they continue to lie about the Insulin price cap? We all know President Trump did that!

Funny, I got an $8 an hour raise when Biden got into office.... When Trump was in I was making less money than the people I was training! 🤷♀️
sure, sure
