Mine is the opposite. My father goes full steam ahead with whatever I’m in to doing but it seems like my mother doesn’t support me with anything. She wants something for me that I’m just not that into.I guess you can say she’s kind’ve like what bam claims his mom is like.

I also moved a lot as a kid and it's true. Every new destination is a new beginning where you can try to become a little bit more what you want to be. When you live in the same place for a long time, it's difficult to change because people around you already have a defined perception of who you are.

Fat kid from Up I've done ridiculous amounts of drugs and you're right. My memory is on point but should be fried. I remember even little details of things and my sober aquaintences don't remember shit. Weird

Very very intelligent. It was hard to tell when he was high all the time. You know he had to have killed a billion brain cells, so his comprehension level and vocabulary after recovery are remarkable!
I get the sense he is highly intuitive as well.

There is a lot of people out there that will look at Steve and wonder how someone could look up to someone like that. But they have never been through the hardships or pain that he or anyone else has experienced. Steve! You are a true inspiration for a lot of people that don’t think they’ll ever make it out! It's awesome his dad finally supported his career choice. And then literally supported him and kept helping him. I'm sure he was really proud when Steve O became famous. He apologized and supported Steve O before he was famous and not after he became filthy rich.
Also, people think clown college is some sort of joke but it's pretty serious art. Especially Barnhum and Bailey's. I mean it doesn't get any more sophisticated than that.

@@chadchambliss4949 nowadays he probably does have a decent amount of money. Now that he's actually interested in making and preserving his money. When he was in his dark days im sure he was blowing through it like nothing. Also his im sure is really financially literate and helped him invest and other business opportunities.
How awesome that his dad and him were able to change their relationship! I think we all have things we would like to change in our relationships with our parents.
I didn't like Steve-O for many years but hearing him on podcasts explaining his troubles etc. has really made me gain a ton of respect for the guy. I've become a fan and I wish him the best.
Thats awesome that even though steve-o's dad didnt necessarily approve of his sons career or life choices he saw how happy and successful he made himself by pursuing them anyways and learned to not only except but embrace his sons choices. I know allot of fathers who hate their children's life decisions and ostracized them for it and as a result still have no relationship with their children to this day. It takes a strong person to admit to someone that they were wrong especially when that someone is your child. Its great to know you've been clean for so long now and your enjoying life with your family. God bless you Steve-O and i look forward to seeing you live on your Bucket List Tour this month cant wait!

When he talked about the Clown college graduation that made me sad & happy. Because I feel that moms are always supportive through thick and think where as dads might not be… It’s just nature and an interesting dynamic.. (yes I know it doesn’t apply to everyone)
The last few minutes about his Dad was the best of the interview. I love Steve o.
There is no way you can get more honest than Steve. You know by listening to him he is genuine. Good bad and ugly. He doesn’t care.
That's dope I always run things by my dad and I'm extremely grateful to have my dad that's my best friend and i know that's a blessing and couldn't picture life without him.

I can really relate to calling my Dad up and spewing a bunch of panicked shit, and my Dad just being, "Slow down, CALM down, now let's figure this out." Having that type of person in your life to help you untangle this shit in your head and sort it all out to look at logically is sooooo important.

I acted the same way he did about moving. I would tell myself “I’m gonna be a WHOLE NEW person, and no ones gonna know the old me!”
I think this was my favorite part of this segment. You can tell that he was badly wanting for validation for most of his early life, and then he finally got a lot of the validation he needed through his dad's acceptance of what he wanted to do with his life. And then not too long after, his dad then taught him how set boundaries for himself and how to effectively negotiate a business deal, which are exactly the things you'd want to learn from your dad.
I have the best dad in the world. I still seek his approval everyday. I’m not trying to brag I’m just saying that even though my dad is great I still hurt knowing that I might disappoint him. Dads are so important. Be there for your kids dads!

@evan A standard night out in the UK would be going to the pub until 11pm, taxi to a club and stay there until closing which tends to be 2-3am, then usually head to a late club until 5am and then finish the night at the famous kebab shop to finish your night. Usually in bed by 7am.
@evan You'll have a great time in Hull. It isn't as fancy as the likes of London, Liverpool, Bristol etc but the Northern party life in general is always pretty good.
P.S. I'm quite big into Hockey. I'm Nottingham Panthers when it comes to the EIHL but the Toronto Maple Leafs when it comes to NHL.

My pops did something similar with me and, man, did it make the world of difference in my attitude, my craft, my LIFE. It just meant the world to me have my dad embrace my art then apologize for not doing so before after realizing it was my absolute passion. It's beautiful to see someone I respect and love so much like Steve-O have the same privileged experience. I have no doubt in my mind that it was LOVE that conquered his addiction. The dude is just the living embodiment of love. Your life story is fucking AMAZING, Steve. You've helped a lot of people with it and as one of them; THANK YOU!

It's crazy how Steve-O ended up going through so many tough (and unfair) situations in life... only for it in the end to make him suck an amazing and understanding person. I can't even imagine how effective he could be as a counselor... or even a Good Friend.

I went to nine schools through eleventh grade when I finally dropped out, and I laughed so hard when he said "oh this next town I'm gonna be COOL" because I was a chubby autistic debate nerd who for sure thought she was going to magically become popular in each new town i drifted into haha. Turns out I became cool as an adult lol. I love Steve-O so much.
