When you get the palette, would you mind doing this again where you do one eye with the older formulas and one with the new palette? I'm really interested to see how similar/different they are.
I think I've found my first Natasha Denona purchase. The colour story is stunning. Golden Rose is screaming my name. I can hear this palette's siren song, and I am but a hapless sailor being lured in. A $60 palette is not accessible to me, but a mini one is doable.
Why does it remind me of the Natasha Denona Mini love? I love the Mini love palette, hit pan after 4months of use. But I'd buy it because I love this colour story. But Natasha, pls release a purple mini palette with a duochrome shimmer shade.

I think that Natasha is a smart business woman. She has been releasing a lot of these minis is SUPER wearable colors to attract new customers. I mean if you are in line at Sephora, and see these super neutral inexpensive palettes you are not going to just throw on in your basket.
Oh no way ND and PM completely different the way they do everything…. ND gives so much more of a different story in her palettes I feel like she is always giving what we want and ask for . And with PM it’s what ever she wants to put out is what we get …. Not that the quality isn’t good but with PM it’s the same old same old I have purchased a PM or been interested in a few years now but ND it seems every couple months something new and exciting is out …and I’m here for it all the way 🙌🏼💜

I actually bought this palette at Sephora a little over 2 weeks ago. I looked everywhere to see if it was available, and it wasn't available on her site or Sephora site at that. I guess they put it out early at my Sephora, which is a first. It's cute but I found it an odd name since most the shades are from the midi Retro palette. Does this mean ND is gona release a midi Rose palette? I hope the shades lean more purple, lavendar if she does

@@ArtemisB. After a certain point I realized I was buying too much and i wasnt using most of it. There is only so much makeup we can go through. It’s best to really narrow down what you truly love and need rather than to give into the temptation. All makeup does the same thing at the end of the day.
Honestly, I love natasha denona website... I have only received 1 broken shadow in the 4 midi palettes I have bought. But... don't fret... it was an easy fix. Just wash your hands, press it back in the pan. Easy. I agree with Morgan here, totally worth ordering from her site. Shipping is quick, too. I love it!
You did a great job and pulling from colors in the palettes to recreate the eye look. I wonder if it is meant to be the original Mini Retro; however she released the mini of retro glam prior? In any event, I think the Mini Rose is cute and perfect for travel or on-the-go. I don't recall that she released a Mini for the Midi Retro. I can't wait to see what she has in store for us in the fall and holiday. I wished she still had her 28 pans available or create an entire new one along with a color story the size of Metropolis. I even wished she did a peach fuzz inspired mini. I also wonder will she do a mini Yucca?

Same! I wish I could buy that shade in the size of a blush lol. The closest I've found was in a Viseart palette. I think it's in the Lilas Deux petit fours. The shade is called Victor Hugo. It's a similar taupey lavender transition shade like Andy.
I have mini starlette and mini dream and I always wish both of them were more pink (but I am a very cool-toned and fair skinned). I’ll probably pick this up for a great travel palette
I'll probably end up getting it at some point. I usually wait for a sale or a holiday. I just finally caved and got my mini dream palette, and I use that nearly every day. I have and love the retro palette, but opart was my least favorite shade from that palette because it just looked like a bruise on me, and I couldn't build it to the desired depth. Hopefully, it'll be improved... I can't wait for your review!

I have bought 4 midi palettes . Fairly new to Natasha. I do t own past palettes so I love this 5 pans. Especially when I don’t want to buy large ones in certain tones. I have one regret midi palettw( bronze) honestly 15 colors and I felt I got very little variety. Lesson learned . I love these colors and find it perfect for just that look. I wouldn’t invest in a large palette with these colors. I’ve found I’ve loved all the minis in place of large palettes I don’t want. Also I LOVE the minis for travel. Major plus.

I tried to recreate Natasha’s looks too, and couldn’t get close. So weird! I gave the retro palette. To try to dupe the shade flamingo, I used a shade from mini zendo. And to try to dupe the shade rose gold, at first I used the pinky shade from mini retro. Then i just used the shade Patty from retro because the mini retro shade wasn’t quite giving me what I wanted. Gives me Naked 3 vibes!!! Oh, and the shade Opart, when trying to do Natasha’s looks, I started with that but I just don’t like it, so I used silhouette from the INAN palette. Similar shade to Opart, but matte. But the look I get DEFINITELY looks like the looks I did with UD Naked 3!
This is absolutely gorgeous! I will be buying asap. It's my first ND palette (I am relatively new to eyeshadow). I don't even have I Need a Nude (yet). I really love this color story. It reminds me of a Chanel eyeshadow quad, with the brown & pink. Would love it if Natasha would do a lager palette like this.💅💄
Please make a side by side with old vs new shades! Also, if you could try to make a similar look with both the rose and retro it would help out alot! Think of mot buying this one since i already have retro and love it! But i am very temted 🫣
I have to be honest, my initial reaction to this mini palette is that I love it, but after I stopped for a moment to go through some of my other pink palettes I already own, I think I can recreate this color story with what I have 😅
ND does neutral well and she also steps out of the box. There was a lot of complaints about mini pastel and jubilee palettes and I’ve been using those two together all Summer. She just releases a range and some will speak to you - some won’t. That said, I won’t be shopping this because I have the love palette, retro palette, and also PM divine rose quad and the other pink quad fleur something. It IS pretty and if it was something I needed I’d get it.

I was waiting for this one!!! Why? Because I didn't buy the Retro palette (just didn't like most of the shades) and she already put the 3 shadows I was interested in of that midi palette (maybe there was a 4th shade I would be interested in but I already have a shade like that). So happy to see this launch. About the vibrancy if the shades....I sometimes do what you did, use a clear matte over the whole eyelid to cancel darkness mostly and reality is it works fine for that BUT will have an impact over the metals or sparkling shades not totally adhering to the lid and performing not as good as without that powder shade underneath. So for the best performance of all those pugments and their longevity and setting on the lid I have to stop using the powder over the whole lid.
I will buy the ND minis just because there’s no way I can spend $60+ on one palette. I know it doesn’t make mathematical sense but it’s girl math. 🤷🏻♀️
I usually pass on the ND mini palettes but I have to say this looks so pretty & I don't have the retro palette. This just looks so versatile but understated. Love it ❤. I do have the purple palette but I'd still buy this as mines old! Love from the UK. 🇬🇧
I wish she do mini Yucca. I have mini Starlette and mini Bronze and got a gift mini Retro (that one is not my fave) I have also the Glam but not using every shades there is at least 5 that I don’t use and also it fades away from my oily lids but in a nice way I must say.
I have some midi palettes of hers but I consistently use her mini ones more often. Especially the mini My Dream. I always liked the IDEA of the Retro palette but color story is soooo much pink that it turned me off. This is just right to me & for me. It’s not so in your face with a lot of pink like having a midi palette. It’s a shop for me 100%.
I love it, but I am not buying so much makeup right now. It inspired me to pull out Retro. I think she does something for everyone. I am cool, and I skip a lot of her palettes because they are so warm.

If not for you I’d nir have realized I have 3/5 shades - the only one left that I really want is that pinky peachy shimmer and that’s too much money for one shade. Hopefully that one is included when she eventually makes this a midi palette!

It's incredibly boring but absolutely perfect. Very Korean Beauty style but without the powdery formulas or glitter. I am really hoping that 'taupe' leans more grey/slate like in promos, but I know it will be warmer 😂

Orrr do we think that she is going to release a Midi Rose collection later this year? She always do a mini first then Midi or Midi then mini. If there is a Midi Rose, I wonder the level of roses or other colors that she will pull into it.
It looks pretty, I won't lie, but I couldn't be less interested these days. I am over eye-shadowed as it is and I am wearing it so much less these days. So getting hyped on more eyeshadow is just not my reality, but I do still love makeup. 💖
Love the colors of this pallet but it bugs me that she has been using shades that already exist. Love that she is changing some of the formulas but it’s still the same colors. I honestly think what we need is for her to sell empty quad pallets so we can pop out colors of the pallets we already have and make our own to travel with. That would be a plus for me to be able to pick from my ND pallets I already have and make my own mini pallets.
Pleased you did this video, as I wanted to know where all the shades came from. I might get this eventually for on the go, I use my mini palettes quite a lot as I often do my makeup on the go and I like to take smaller palettes when I go away. I do have the Retro palette though so probs won’t get it in a hurry. I was wondering if you’d be reviewing the new Bobbi Brown quads, Milky Way and Star-Crossed? I love the Bobbi Brown baked eye shadows, very reminiscent of Pat’s baked/special shades. I know eyeshadow is apparently out, but I still love it lol
Yes, Bobbi Brown has baked shades that are just like the PML astrals and VR formulas. Unfortunately for my tan-deep skin, the matte in those two palettes would not show up on my skin tone. I’m still tempted to buy them. Those palettes are so elegant and feminine!
I think this is bit meh, because some of the other pink themed minis are quite close to this one. I do like the colour story and because the repeat shades are from quite old palettes I don't mind them here in a mini format, where it is pretty limited how many shades you can include all together. If ND would make a midi version out of this one, than I would be much more critical of the brand doing several repeat shades for that because those cost more.
I really like it for travel , but I have the retro midi. Andy is one of my most favorite shades, but I pair it with one of the dark purplish shades for the outer crease. That dark brown doesn’t seem to fit in with this mini.
I have Retro so I'll pass on this one. I'd be curious if you could compare Golden Rose to the similar shade in the PMG quad Eternal Eden 😊 I'm disappointed that these are repeats, even reformulated
I cashed in all my out of points and bought the new gold pallet and I was dismayed to see that I have the baby gold trio that has 3 of the same shades as the new gold.

Why? Because I didn't buy the Retro palette (just didn't like most of the shades) and she already put the 3 shadows I was interested in of that midi palette (maybe there was a 4th shade I would be interested in but I already have a shade like that).

About the vibrancy if the shades....I sometimes do what you did, use a clear matte over the whole eyelid to cancel darkness mostly and reality is it works fine for that BUT will have an impact over the metals or sparkling shades not totally adhering to the lid and performing not as good as without that powder shade underneath.
So for the best performance of all those pugments and their longevity and setting on the lid I have to stop using the powder over the whole lid.
This is what I wanted from the mini starlette but I returned it because it just didn't look like the marketing images.
I will buy the ND minis just because there’s no way I can spend $60+ on one palette. I know it doesn’t make mathematical sense but it’s girl math. 🤷🏻♀️
I ordered it as soon as I saw the email. I think it’s really pretty and I love the smaller palettes.

I’ve noticed that since she changed her formula to be more “clean” the metallic finish shadows are a lot less creamy and some hard pan a little

I wish she do mini Yucca. I have mini Starlette and mini Bronze and got a gift mini Retro (that one is not my fave) I have also the Glam but not using every shades there is at least 5 that I don’t use and also it fades away from my oily lids but in a nice way I must say.
I have some midi palettes of hers but I consistently use her mini ones more often. Especially the mini My Dream. I always liked the IDEA of the Retro palette but color story is soooo much pink that it turned me off. This is just right to me & for me. It’s not so in your face with a lot of pink like having a midi palette. It’s a shop for me 100%.
I love it, but I am not buying so much makeup right now. It inspired me to pull out Retro. I think she does something for everyone. I am cool, and I skip a lot of her palettes because they are so warm.
Thank you for this! I use the retro all the time - one of my faves. If not for you I’d nir have realized I have 3/5 shades - the only one left that I really want is that pinky peachy shimmer and that’s too much money for one shade. Hopefully that one is included when she eventually makes this a midi palette!

I saw this and I said oh I need this I am in love ! Then I realized I own all those shades ... But she did say they were different textures . I'm going to wait to see some swatches I think ... Maybe ...lol

Retro was my fav palette i must use it more it’s so pretty but i also like her cream to powder I’ve oily lids too so maybe that makes a difference
It's incredibly boring but absolutely perfect. Very Korean Beauty style but without the powdery formulas or glitter.
I am really hoping that 'taupe' leans more grey/slate like in promos, but I know it will be warmer 😂

Good morning from Thailand. I have one small palette from Natasha Denona but the packaging is not durable. I don't know why, so this one ths color is nice but still consider should I get it or not.
Pat brings out a quad with existing colors: everyone is annoyed. Natasha brings out a palette with existing colors: everyone freaks out 🤦🏻♀️
Exactly it seems like the white women such as Natasha Denona and Charlotte Tillberry can come out with the same color is over and over again but if a black woman does it it’s a problem why do they expect so much more from Pat, Danessa ect

Orrr do we think that she is going to release a Midi Rose collection later this year? She always do a mini first then Midi or Midi then mini. If there is a Midi Rose, I wonder the level of roses or other colors that she will pull into it.

It looks pretty, I won't lie, but I couldn't be less interested these days. I am over eye-shadowed as it is and I am wearing it so much less these days. So getting hyped on more eyeshadow is just not my reality, but I do still love makeup. 💖
Love the colors of this pallet but it bugs me that she has been using shades that already exist. Love that she is changing some of the formulas but it’s still the same colors. I honestly think what we need is for her to sell empty quad pallets so we can pop out colors of the pallets we already have and make our own to travel with. That would be a plus for me to be able to pick from my ND pallets I already have and make my own mini pallets.

Pleased you did this video, as I wanted to know where all the shades came from. I might get this eventually for on the go, I use my mini palettes quite a lot as I often do my makeup on the go and I like to take smaller palettes when I go away. I do have the Retro palette though so probs won’t get it in a hurry.
I was wondering if you’d be reviewing the new Bobbi Brown quads, Milky Way and Star-Crossed? I love the Bobbi Brown baked eye shadows, very reminiscent of Pat’s baked/special shades. I know eyeshadow is apparently out, but I still love it lol

Yes, Bobbi Brown has baked shades that are just like the PML astrals and VR formulas. Unfortunately for my tan-deep skin, the matte in those two palettes would not show up on my skin tone. I’m still tempted to buy them. Those palettes are so elegant and feminine!

I think this is bit meh, because some of the other pink themed minis are quite close to this one. I do like the colour story and because the repeat shades are from quite old palettes I don't mind them here in a mini format, where it is pretty limited how many shades you can include all together. If ND would make a midi version out of this one, than I would be much more critical of the brand doing several repeat shades for that because those cost more.

I really like it for travel , but I have the retro midi. Andy is one of my most favorite shades, but I pair it with one of the dark purplish shades for the outer crease. That dark brown doesn’t seem to fit in with this mini.
Its more gray than brown I would day!!

I cashed in all my out of points and bought the new gold pallet and I was dismayed to see that I have the baby gold trio that has 3 of the same shades as the new gold.
It's stunning, but I pass. I have all my Pat McGrath palettes with 100 shades of pink to use before 😂.
