Their unsentimental use of strings isn't mentioned often enough, and Billy Powell from that school of stride and barrelhouse piano playing; think of Fats Waller, Meade Lux Lewis, Albert Ammons, "Pinetop" Smith, and last, but certainly not least, Professor Longhair was such a great piano player. Epic tune! I bought the album for Freebird back in the day, but the rest of the album is my favorite now. This tune holds up as one of the best.

For years I thought it was about Tuesday the day. Same with "Ruby Tuesday" by the Stones.
While on hold with my local hospital this song came on as hold music.
