Nice paint scheme and congrats on the maiden. Hands down my fav 70mm so far. She’s nose heavy with factory cg and until you shove the battery all the way under the fuselage she’s gonna be a handful on landing and not flare as well. Push the pack back and you’ll come alive like a kid at Christmas 😉
I think you could have slowed it down better on downwind to final. Height equals and translates to speed and I see far too many people flying that way. Fly your pattern lower, easier to see and don't forget to "call the ball". Goose would be proud.
@@tim7402 agreed. If all things equal. But, I fly at many different locations and times of day with high wind and varying terrain on final that cause so much wind shear and turbulence that the loss in altitude can cause a crash if approaching at a nice lower altitude. That’s why I’ve seen many f14s come short of the short 200’ runways. They want that flat gradual approach and the plane just drops no recovery time. For folks like me I gotta fly the conditions not the 3mph 7am morning fly crew style.
@@starsandstripesrc8475 sorry , freewing 70 has won the 70 crown now 😞. It’s just better in every way. Hopefully fms keeps it going and starts putting out more revamped aircraft. So many great warbirds they don’t offer anymore. If they sold this super hornet with full stabs and blue angels theme it would be golden.
Im liking it, Thanks buddy, and thanks for watching!
