A lot has changed for Emilia in the last few months with leaving primary school and entering secondary school and also being very close to becoming a teen teenager.. so she decided she wanted to make a morning routine and update you on her skin care and make a routine. I hope you guys enjoy.
You are smart to avoid makeup on the more sensitive areas. I learned from Clinique people that after cleansing to put on some moisturizer. If you have oily skin use oil free moisturizer and if dry you will want something light but has some protective oils. I had slightly oily skin bc I lived in a hot climate and very fair skinned so used oil free moisturizer and then foundation with some SPF in it if I was in sun. Then used pressed powder to set the foundation and it was good. I didn’t use concealer but it does make a difference in shadowed darker under eyes. Even if you don’t use anything on sensitive areas maybe consider some oil free moisturizer in those areas. This will protect you skin from collecting dirt and such in the daily environment and maybe prevent break outs. It’s important to wash it at night and morning gently and fair skin often will look pink or redness after washing. Don’t scrub too hard, just be gentle and thorough. If you scrub hard it will redden and if you use too harsh of cleansers it will also cause redness. You have gorgeous skin, brows, eyes and lips naturally so your gut feeling to go light to none on makeup is smart. For you the only big difference I saw was lightening under your eyes. The mascara you don’t need and skin products hardly noted diff. You are fortunate to have lovely skin and features so best you can do is just protect them. I do agree though that makeup blending is fun and experimenting fun. I use powder pads sometimes also to blend rather than brushes. Your fingers are the tools god gave you and if they are clean they work well also lol. Also make sure to wash your sponges, powder pads and brushes often bc they can grow bacteria and you don’t want to introduce old funky bacteria to a nice clean clear face. Great job and your best gift is to trust your own instincts and gut feelings. ❤👩🎨 you had an artist’s eye.
