- [SMRT] Kawasaki CSR Qingdao Sifang C151B [657/658] - Bishan » Ang Mo Kio (NSL)
Filmed on 26 July 2024
Due to 073/074 encountering a train fault causing it to be immobilised at Raffles Place, 519/520 performed a 12 car rescue operation to help resume train service.
The train parked at AMK A due to operational issues for the 12 car to enter from BSH to BSD TB3.
As the 12 car train was there, northbound services were routed to AMK C/D.
SGT2581 Announcement: With LTA announcing the retirement of the First, Second and Third Generation Trains in Singapore, (Kawasaki Heavy Industries Contract 151, Siemens Aktiengesellschaft C651 and Kawasaki Nippon Sharyo C751B), both of us will be filming more of these trains on both NSL and EWL, to commemorate the great service that these trains have provided.

BRO I SAW THIS YESTERDAY WHEN I WAS ABOUT TO TAKE 169 FROM AMK TO WDL
207/208 made a right choice to return to EWL earlier this month after running on NSL for a month despite suffered a fault also during the first weekend of TEL4 but returned to service few days later. No wonder why the R151 847/848 (I was on while heading Southbound this morning) stopped temporarily at Toa Payoh and Novena and the Northbound trains were bunching, this is one of the main reasons why the R151 trains are extremely important / essential to the network (especially on NSL) now as older trains (especially KHI even with their new signalling upgrade) are not as reliable as they were before during the fixed block days alr.
Yap yap yap yap
The fault started and ended at what time?
@@Jor_Jor_and_Char_chan The fault started at 9:44a.m., and ended at around 10:15a.m.++

What happened to 073/074
@@christopheryongmenglee7569 Probably an air-burst which caused the train to stall on the North-South Line.
