I have three additions: 1) In the Flory-Huggins theory xA and xB are volume fractions, which is determined by the number of cells that each individual molecule occupies and the mole fraction of this molecule. Only in case that all the compounds have molecules of the same size, the volume fraction equals the mole fraction. 2) The quantity q in the definition of Chi parameter is the coordination number of the lattice that is used to model the position of the molecules in the liquid. The coordination number is the number of next neighbours around a central cell. For a cubic lattice q=6. For a hexagonal lattice this is 12. 3) Chi is a dimensionless parameter that quantifies the interaction between two sides. When the system involves molecules that occupy a different number of cells, for instance a polymer dissolved in a solvent, than Flory-Huggins assumes still that all cells of a single molecule have the same number of interactions. This is not true. Due to the connectivity of the cells that define this molecule, the number of interactions has dropped.

Thank you for the valuable additions
Man, this stuff is tough enough in English. I need to look some more.
Sure the stuff is not easy in english we need to learn by Germany :>)
