Been playing the guitar for around 50 years and have only just discovered Colin Hay. WTF? I was born in Govan, Glasgow, 32 miles from Colins birthplace and have been there many, many times, never knowing. I enjoyed MAW in my early 20's, but I enjoyed a wide variety of music at that time and thought nothing of the breakup. I can now look forward to hearing all of his music, for the first time. Can't wait. 🙂

I just saw Colin 2 days ago here in Portland, Oregon. His voice is fantastic as is his guitar playing, as strong as when he was younger. He's out on tour, GO see him!

Colin I must say that I always wondered what happened to you after men at work and now I know and I have to say that what you are doing now musically is the best music I've heard in a long time and only want to hear more."I don't think I'll ever get over you"is especially meaningful to me as I lost my girlfriend due to illness five years ago and the lyrics are like me speaking to myself and believe me I've done alot of that. Thanks for the great work you do and thanks for being just you.

Not only is this guy one of the most underrated singer/songwriters/guitar players, he also seems to be so down to earth and personable. His songs are so full of emotion and heart. Coupled with his wife singing backing vocals, they transport you to a different place. I am also from Ayrshire in Scotland where is from and I will definitely be going to see him if he ever meanders back home!

Never paid much attention to Men at Work. Liked a couple of their songs but that was it. But I've been watching vids here and there of Colin and he really is funny and a much better singer songwriter than I ever thought of. I checked Ticketmaster and he's not doing anything right now but when he does I'd like to see him live. I'm sure it would be a great show. I'm seeing Mark Knopfler in Sept. I would like to see those two get together.
