Here is my review of the new vanilla diorama from Christian Dior's private line.

Vanilla Diorama by Dior is an Amber Vanilla fragrance for women and men. This is a new fragrance. Vanilla Diorama was launched in 2021. The nose behind this fragrance is Francois Demachy.
Top notes are Orange, Pink Pepper, and Lemon;
middle notes are Cacao, Rum, and Cardamom;
base notes are Bourbon Vanilla, Sandalwood, and Patchouli.

I agree with you with the frequency of launches. Brands need to give us a chance to love and appreciate one fragrance at a time. Great video!

I couldn't agree with you more. This smells to me like feve and spice blend had a baby. I don't love this fragrance. I purchased it blindly and returned it due to the fact that I own feve, spice blend and 3 other dior fragrances . The DNA is very strong 💪🏾 I heard this was very sweet, it's not sweet at all in my opinion. It's ok.. Great review 👏🏾
I agree I could pick up a lot of similarities between this and Feve Delicious. Too much spice, it's okay but not fbw imo.
Omg, yes!!! Thank GOD I found a decant, cause I don’t even smell the damn vanilla- much less any sweetness/gourmand notes! It’s a spicy Feve,& I absolutely did NOT like FD, so I don’t like this..☹️
I just recently realized how much I enjoy vanilla and citrus together. Girl but my pockets aren't that deep at the moment. I'll love to hear about any possible dupes because this sounds amazing. Love your content boo❤

I've read from several other reviewers that Dapper Fragrances makes a fantastic dupe of this. I haven't tried it myself, but I've heard it's great.

Fève Délicieuse is also powdery on me. Vanilla Diorama sounds amazing. I gravitate towards vanilla, nutmeg, spicy scents. Would love to experience the contrast between the fresh and warm notes in this one.
I really really like Vanilla Diorama sooo much. Funny, but Feve delicieuse is not my cup of tea tho. For me feve is too powdery and too luxury babypowderish. Vanilla Diorama for me is more aromatic.

@@micheller2906 kayali vanilla 28, mfk gentle fluidity gold, (this might be odd but..) maison marigela by the fireplace (it’s mostly a smokey vanilla that i pick up on and when it’s dried down it’s almost all vanilla on my skin), and one of my all time favorites is Nobile 1942 la danza delle libellule (you can get it on lucky scent and it legit smells like an apple pie)
Tihota indult strongest vanilla especially in the winter wow its gorgeous

I’m a guy and thinking of getting the 40ml. Smells better and more palatable then tobacco vanille imo

Would love to try this! I just picked up 3 different fragrances from their privee line and I love them! I just wish there was a way to sample these.. every time I’ve ordered from the Dior site, there’s no sample of the fragrance. Since these are all blind buys, I think it would be helpful if Dior would provide more samples with your purchase.
I find that this is a unique vanilla. I don’t think it smells like Fève but it’s a slight vibe. I definitely agree that it’s not super sweet. I can’t wait to wear it this Fall.🤩😉 Great Review Karina.

I was waiting on this video! I think you’re gonna love it when it gets cooler. I think it’s funny that Dior Released 3 fragrances this year in their Prive line when I think it had been well over a year since their last release. 🤷🏽♀️
I blind bought this and couldn't figure out why I didn't like it. You described it perfectly. I wanted more sensual and sweet but this is more "cozy" like you said. The slight powdery and spice that you perfectly explained are scents I don't prefer. Thanks for helping me describe why its not for me.

Beautifully done review Karina! I totally agree , they have been really quick with these new releases. I think this is the best suited frag for coming winters , would definitely want to try it out .

I got a sample from Dior and agree with you about the cinnamon. I smell a lot of spice in this fragrance, was disappointed. Wish it had more vanilla, a pass for me. Nice review!

1) How do you compare this, if at all, to Dior Addict in the blue bottle, which is one of my all time favorite scents?
2) The Patachoulli makes me a little nervous because I can only handle Patachoulli in light subtle doses as it inevitably gives me a headache 😔. In your opinion, is the Patachoulli subtle?

I wouldn’t compare this to Dior addict. I think they are totally different. Maybe they have similar powdery tone.
I honestly don’t get much of the patchouli, I get a lot of vanilla and cinnamon

Oohhh the description of this sounds really good! It’s hard for me to picture since I’ve never smelled Feve. I do like a little sweetness in my fragrances so I wonder how this would smell mixed with a sweeter vanilla like Kayali? I’ll have to give this a smell to see what it’s giving me! 😅
I don’t think this is a safe blind buy for me. I don’t own or have sampled Feve so I definitely need to get my nose on it.

I've been on the fence with blind buying this one..I love Dior Addict and was wondering if Vanilla Diorama might smell similar?
Nope doesn’t smell similar at all to me. Dior addict is more powdery on my skin and slightly more mature
I’m kind of just starting my fragrance journey so to speak lol I have yet to get a Dior fragrance you make this one sound interesting
I mainly get the patchouli & woody notes even from the first spray. Didnt get the vanilla at all. I wonder why it is more woody than vanilla-y, not knowing what the notes are, now i get it. Lol… not my fav 😬

Hmmm... I'm very interested in this one as well, it *sounds* great based on notes.... but! Does it remind you in any way of Poison Girl? I ask because of the citrus pairing with the sweetness... to be honest, I was a little disappointed by PG. 😬 Don't get me wrong, it's beautiful! But I accidentally ordered the EDP instead of EDT and I've always wondered if that was why I didn't understand the uber-hype behind it (?). And the unisex/green note comments on this one...🤔 I would definitely have to sample this before dropping all that coin on this!💰 (Girl it would take me a minute to get it anyway so 😆 let's be real!!)
