Caution! Huben does not intend for that front power limiting screw to be removed. On my newly purchased GK1 it was secured in place with the equivalent of red locktite. If you try to force it and round off the internal allen flats you are pretty much screwed. It will come out but you must use precautions. Make sure your allen key fits very tight. Dip the tip of the allen key in Ajax to allow a better grip. Use a soldering iron with a pointed tip to heat the screw before you try anything. If you see a wisp of smoke while heating you have gone far enough as the sealant is melting. I hope yours comes out easier than mine but if it gives you alot of resistance be careful.
Thanks for the heads up Robert! You're the first I've heard where it is loctited in place! I will reach out to a vendor with a couple questions on the new batches.
Aesthetics and sight preference. On my 'normal' hand held pew pews, my reflex sights are all rear slide mounted. I didn't personally like the additional movement from a mid-barrel mount with the GK1 so this makes it feel more like how I have my pb pistols setup.
Great video, and it looks like it will fit in a holster like the "Toomy Leather" with the Red Dot V2 mount. Which Red Dot did you install onto the mount in your video?
I purchased this, and just got it this morning, and just went back to your website. Then realized that I don't even remember what version that I got. And it is not marked, nor is there any paperwork denoting the style, I have a CV life Red dot mounted on it now with a 11mm to picatanny adaptor, it looks clunky and to far forward. But looking at the dot I have it won't work with this adaptor plate. I must confess I don't own any firearms just airguns, so I have no idea what the two versions of this adaptor even mean when buying another red dot. I do know that I don't want to spend the $200 plus for a Holosun. It isn't rated any higher than anything else on Amazon. But is a lot more expensive. The CV Life is very nice but won't work with your adaptor. Any recommendations ? And what is RMR and DOCTER? Sorry for being ignorant of these mounting patterns and what and why they are different. Don't even know which one I picked. I guess I must have?
So is the benefit of the new version that you dont have to create the gap in the shroud to instal?I have the new Gk-1 version but your V1 mounting plate.Damn i just ordered your loading gate it arrives tomorrow,i could have had this version also on the product review video😖
Yes, don't have to loosen the barrel cover with this version. Has two mechanical (bolts) mounting points as well. Both versions functionally do the same thing, but the original was a necessity of the block design. The new block derivative has that front feature for some some of internal speed/power regulation--but I repurposed it for external use if your gk1 isn't restricted.
Hi, yes, most of Europe is available with international shipping service. We are trying to finalize our low profile picatinny tube mount--likely a few weeks until that is released.
It looks really neat mate. 👍🏻
Thanks! 👍

I put my red dot on the rail and it works as well as if it was mounted in front. It's just a question of aesthetics.

personally my red dot mounted in the middle of the barrel does not hinder the precision.🤷♂️

Thanks! This is actually a cheaper tru glow--I use it for spec testing after the mount assembly is done. It's not bad for the money though!
@@Huben3DParts Thank you! I may try a Vortex Venom Red Dot.

Nicely done ! Do you also ship to europe ? And are you planning to make a underbarrel rail aswell ? i might be interested in that. greetings

@@Huben3DPartssweet. very much appreciated. No rush, do ur thing.
Will this work with a Donnyfl Yokozuna attached ?
Corresponded via email, but to answer the comment, yes it will. Slight creep into sight window is all.
I just received the RMR pattern adapter. My GK1 V3 does not have any screw there, should I order the original?

What happens to the spring?
The spring that holds up the rear sight? I remove it completely and put it in the spare parts bag.
