Always eagerly awaited, the official remixes to Rodriguez Jr.’s latest album “BLISSS” are finally here.
Kicking things off in suitable style is long-time friend and respected producer, Timo Mass. Striking a balance between driving dance-floor and a homage to the deep roots of “Blisss”; he carves a suspense laden interpretation, teasing that already iconic bassline into a stomping frenzy of elements in crafted unison; including a resonating vocal mantra - this is a different kind of late-night Blisss...
Whilst the album showcases a blissful soundscape of sounds culminated in his career as Rodriguez Jr., it would be amiss to not pay homage to the raw spirit of the dance. Here, we are pleased to welcome Martinez Sr. to the fore, Rodriguez Jr.'s new techno alter-ego. Applying his ethos to the darker side of electronic music yields unsurprisingly a plethora of beautifully crafted instruments telling a rapturous tale, but this time it’s the strobe light version. We’re excited to see what’s next in store for Martinez Sr., an alias similarly inspired by his family’s Spanish heritage.
After a high number of requests, we are pleased to deliver to you "What Is Real" (Deep In The Playa Remix). Built by Rodriguez Jr. for his own live sets and already supported across the airwaves in Ibiza and beyond; this particular story invites you to come on a journey with Rodriguez Jr. and Liset Alea into the ether, leaving behind the need to care what is real.

Really good. But. . . If you could do a version without that (horrible) stabbing electronic noise every 1/4 second. . . it would be so great. This mania for what used to be the bass drum and the snare replaced by those intensely annoying electronic stabs. Look. . . it would be so easy to just go in and make a version where that horrible noise was soft and easy. I do not mean to be disrespectful, but someone has to take a stand for the sonically sensitive. Onward
