In this video we're snowboarding in Rusutsu Japan exploring some of the Supernatural powder snowboarding features built into the trees. Rusutsu Japan is know for it's tree runs and deep powder snowboarding. We're also searching for powder pillows to and new zones to snowboard through. Chris is riding the Gentemstick XY snowboard and testing it out in a powder zone we were shown a few days ago. In this video we also visit the Gentemstick gallery in Niseko and check out some of their powder snowboards. Thanks for watching!
Unreal. I'm sure it's not easy rolling with such a large crew but the footage is awesome. Love all the different video styles. (Even Bo hahaha)
Such a huge crew
Been following you for 3 years. Helped me a lot with progression! You deserve it all man, enjoy!
:)
Ive been to Niseko, half a dozen times in the last 20 years and Rusutsu a couple. Rusutsu is so much better for snowboarders and the tree runs have the best spaced trees of all. I love it there. Hey Kevin, the boards you ride look so much smaller in length and a lot wider than I would normally have chosen. If I was on a 165+, it looks like you are riding a 150 to 155cm board and 280 wide. Great Japan videos !
I'm riding a 159 Orca. MY height at 6'3" might make the board look short. The extra width is fun in the powder. I'll have to try out some longer pow boards too!
@@SnowboardProCamp When we first went to Niseko in 1998, we rode Burton Supermodel 181 !
Live in Australia and never seen snow but love watching the vids
Take a trip to hotham ski resort one day :D
Or falls, Buller, Perisher and Thredbo. We are fortunate that you could be surfing in the morning and snowboarding in the afternoon...
Glade to hear it
@@timilebar live in Perth Australia aha
@@Bad_Riders live in perth Australia no snow near here aha
This has to be one of the coolest vids I've seen in a long time!! Awesome day!!
Thank you!
I agree
Sweet and spicey; Kevin's yellow "lemon drop" look and Dave's red "hot tamale"!!
It goes with their personality
Hahah so great
ok
Thanks for taking the time to film these videos. Awsome
Super cool to see natural park features in the back and side country. Definitely a new take on park. 👍🏼
20k to 500k! Keep up the good work Kev and enjoy Japow!
Thank you!
theBeT95 come back again when you reach puberty.
Not sure how this is trash? When it's well edited footage of someone snowboarding and enjoying themselves and sharing the experience and inspiring others?
theBeT95 come back again when you learn to speak proper English. Lol
Woooo all most there
that powder ♥️♥️♥️ just amazing
Japow!
Rusutsu is 1 of the best resort in JAPPOWWW love that place
Cool! I've been to Rusutu several times. Bording in Rusutu is amazing. Don't forget to visit hot-spa in resort.
Amazing video as always, keep up the good work 🤙🏻
@@theBeT95 You are doing a great job belittling all these poor folks on the internet. Hope you are feeling much better about yourself and keep up the good work! ;)

Lovin' those Gentemstick boards. 😍🤘
They are definitely a piece of art!
Sooo expensive
Whats the music starting arround 0:38 called? Been Hearing it in some of your videos and enjoying it a lot!
Shred it
Like the backing track
Awesome video as usual. Little hack that hopefully works: I noticed the flickering when filming in the shop with non natural light (coming from lamps). If you reduce the FPS it should not be visible anymore! which settings you usually use on the Gopro for getting your outdoor footage?
Amazing spot.
SnowboardProCamp back at it again making me consider budgeting for a $3000 japan trip and a $1000 snowboard (gentemstick) for next January -_- Saving for a house? Fuck all that, lets shred some powwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww
Haha! Priorities!
Heavy!
you need to come to spain love your vids
Yessss that would be epic
I love snowboarding and I always watch your vidoes can you tell me a eady trick I should learn !?

can you reccomend anon mask??? tnx a lot from Russia !
Love the content! Do you recommend the GNU Money over the GNU Head Space? I'm primarily boarding on the east coast and looking to make my first snowboard purchase for myself and my son for our trip next month. I would appreciate any advice and or recommendations. It seems the current difference in price between the Money and Head Space is ~$100 TIA #KeepShredding
Had a great time yesterday snowboarding for the second time, advanced way faster than a normal first time rider. who was at Hidden Valley on Jan 25?
Loving hearing ur out there
ellstacker adventures I know right. Haha
We Go back in two weekends i don’t know where to though

Hey man how many layers do you guys need in Hokkaido? I’ve heard it’s crazy cold?! What kinda outers etc? Thanks for all the great advice!
Kevs still chasing more snow? Damn
Always!
SnowboardProCamp we should look into a bald face trip to try the supernatural course out. I just got done watching the fourth phase from Travis rice and now I want to go free ride 🤤
Love to see it
He will never be done.
Any chance marking the run the Roxy girls showed you on the map for me
take the highest chair in mt isola and then go to the piste on the right. after you pass a small hill on your right side there should be a couple of tracks going into the zone! have fun :)
what resort would you pick if I wanna go to Japan for my first time ( powder snowboarding )
Hanazono
Mate w/o any scarf is crazy, snow around neck, brrrr❄️❄️
Japow!! Epic..🤙
Japow
what mitts you rockin'?
Dang so jealous
Oh sick it’s David Jones!
Or is it...
Best pow👍
Bro Brock Crouch and Red Gerard should be in Niseko this week! It would be awesome if you saw them!
Brady Meier yes dude! You been watching the xgames? That is where I learned that same info.
Yeah, was pretty crazy this year!
FYI, Only about half of the boards made by Gentemstick are made in Japan, the other half are outsourced to China.
whats that song called?
Can anyone please tell me where these sick spots are in this video?
Irin Thomas japan
Never call out your spots.
Which way is the snowboarder riding in the logo? Because then it’d be a different grab, is it a mute or an Indy? Lol just a random thought
I like to think its front shift indy grab!
Thats the beauty of it... Can go either way. Id rather not know. Good call on the shifty tho @Shred1904
Where's the "pillow" lines?
Hey im not sure if you will read this but i just started snowboarding and i've done it like 6 times and i started to get the turning right but sometimes i get way too much speed and panic making me try to hit the breaks and just fall or on my back or my front. it's rought for me in such small spaces where i cant do side to side turns since there's more people coming. Any tips?
Do you ride goofy or regular? You'll always find when you start snowboarding that it's easier to turn one way than the other. So don't panic it's completely normal. Remember the basics are the key, so learning to control speed is an absolute must to keep you and everyone around you safe. Then just keep practicing. Set small goals like performing a turn on your comfortable side then stop the try you uncomfortable side then stop to see what's causing the worry on your less comfortable side. Normally it's doing stuff that feels a bit alien like keeping your weight over the front of the board because you naturally want to stand upright on a slope which means you incorrectly put too much weight on your back foot and whooosh you're off like rocket.
steven johnson I feel better by riding regular (left foot on the front )
Get a lesson from a professional instructor. They will have you linking turns before you know it.
May i ask where the cat track is? Or even better, which part of the mountain were u guys riding? Heading there in three weeks! Thanks!
mt isola, stay on the utmost right side of the piste and you should see some tracks going into the zone
@@inmotion_snow ah i see, is it out of the boundary? or is it between boundary and heavenly view? (assuming your talking about the very left side of the trail map) the cat track walks all the way back to isloa no.4 quad? Thanks so much!
@@itskearny yes go via Heavenly view and stick to the right side on the piste. after you pass a small mount on your right side there will be some tracks dropping into the zone to your immediate right. once in, traverse right and then just drop whenever you see the fresh goods. cat track is super mellow hike, about 8mins and then either walk all the way to the piste or traverse left on your board onto the piste. then ride all the way down to the far quad chair to repeat process :)
@@inmotion_snow sick!! thanks so much! was studying the map and didnt think there are places that requires hiking for pow. Now we know! :) Cheers!
Wear gloves are those?
What***
Will shooting things in 50hz/fps help the flickering when shooting indoors? Since the electricity there flickers at 50hz e.g. exporting at 1080p50 as well
Sup fellas
Paint your board yellow Like Davids
Soon!
That will be cool to see
Which specific color lense are you using in this video? Just wondering, as I too own a pair of m4 anons.
I've got the sonar pink. I think the best for low light!
You guys should go into snowboard school and fake that your bad.
Yewwwww
They make the boards in China and some in Japan.
wth am i watching??? lmao 3:10
