Spencer Tracy came out, did his job and did it better than anyone. Shatner worked on Judgment at Nuremberg with the greatest actors- Spencer Tracy, Maximillian Schell, Burt Lancaster, Richard Widmark, Merlene Dietrich, Montgomery Clift, Werner Klemperer, Judy Garland. He was incredibly lucky that anyone said hello to him.
William Shatner was actually a very good actor who rarely got much credit for being one. Yes, over the years he seemed and was often on the hamey side over playing the role in a so so movie or TV show. But when he had good material and a good director he would show what he could have been or done.
In the 60s Bill hadn't quite adapted his screen technique to television. He had a camera three feet in front of him but he was still playing to the balcony. This made his work look broader than those around him. Once he dialed it back a bit, he was fine.
This is great. William Shatner has worked with some awesome people.

I agree with that. I also feel he's a fine actor.
I would have loved to have seen him in The World of Suzie Wong on Broadway with Francis Ngyen

I can't believe Bill Shatner will turn 80 next spring. How did he add life to his years like that? He doesn't look a day past 60.
Now over 90 and still going strong
LOL Shatner is the MAN!!!!!!!
