You got keep doing projects and start multiple projects at once and switch between them to not get burned out doing the same thing that is what I do and playing with someone helps two

Even worse, he's got nearly a million subs, and barely gets views on anything that isn't a farm.
Easy way to get bonemeal is from mob grinder. And just connect them together using hoppers or minecarts. Although ice can be used if you have a silk touch pickaxe. The sugar cane can be sent to a chest next to a cartographer villager to trade with them. I just like how automatic can Minecraft be.
This is a good substitute if you can’t find a skeleton spawner
I’ve had the hardest time finding one in my current world so im using this
I combined your kelp XP farm/bonemeal farm with the end piece of this one so the bonemeal produced goes into the dispenser. That way the farm produces its own bonemeal. Thank you JC for teaching us so much!!!

Pro tip.... double up the kelp farm, and use half of it for infinite fuel.

I legit altered the bamboo farm that has the built in bonemeal farm to grow sugar cane. So much fast than having 2 separate farms
You should do this inside your survival series and then turn the sugar cane into paper then sell it for infinte emralds

Yeah this does require a lot of iron tho but with my fortune 3 pick I’m okay with it
I got a iron golem farm 😅 infinite iron, sugar cane, wool, steak/leather, emeralds, ect. I'd do all of it because me and my brother did and worth it @@Error-2156-X

Hey @jc_playz, you can simplify it. Replace the dirt with mud, place the hopper underneath the mud and you can completely enclose it, no need for Glas panes.
Have you tried if it actually works as good? It should but Minecraft has strange physics so Idk.

Instead of dirt, use mud by getting a water bottle on a dirt block, then add the hopper under the mud block because it isn't a full block so hoppers can get blocks

I have a skeleton xp farm so i have endless bonemeal, i had a sugar cane farm too but it was not automatic and after some point i was so tired of harvesting and planting them again so i did this and it really works well!
Lucky me I have a skeleton spawner right under my base so I made 2 of these next to it so they run as I am farming skeletons. I also have 20 villagers upstairs to trade with for emeralds...so this just saved me hours of sugar cane farming and now I can convert the 320 plot farm back into food again lol
You could mirror that and make an automatic bamboo farm right next to it? With the bonemeal chest connected to both
Bamboo doesn’t grow instantly though and he also has other farms for that
yes you can switch out the sugarcane for bamboo and make this work with it… my friend and i make a double one and have bamboo in one side and sugarcane in the other, you just dont need the water for the bamboo
Pro tip: Use mud instead of dirt to grow sugarcane. Because the mud block is not a full height block hoppers can collect the items through the block.

Better yet, use sand to speed up the growth, change the top piston to an observer, and you can save all the bonemeal. Cane grows super fast anyway.
@@rustykrieger7181 sand and dirt actually cause sugarcane to grow at the same rate. Mud however, increases speed slightly.

I was just using the farm and it works really well but it just stopped working, the bone meal shows the growing particles on the sugar cane but it doesn't grow, I'm not sure why this happens, it's happened once and I had to rebuild the entire farm.
Did that fix it? It worked at first and now I’m having the same problem on a realm
For some reason mine was working at first and after I come back hours later the bonemeal shoots out but the sugar cane won’t grow

You can literally just the same result by bonemeal by hand and collecting it I thought this was gonna be a zero tick farm so you didn’t use bonemeal
Zero tick farms were patched like... I dunno, at least a few years ago, mate. On bedrock, anyway.
Everything works except when it dispenses the bone meal the sugar canes don’t grow

Man you are my source when I need to make a farm in Minecraft and tips for people that doesn't want to manually put bone meal everytime, just make the bone meal farm with kelp from this guy too and just connect the hopper to the bone meal chest

Works great! Built it right next to the bonemeal farm for easy transfer.
Build the bonemeal farm INTO this one's bonemeal chest.
Now there's no transfer at all.
Instead of doing the farm he recommends at the end, another one you could do is the fish farm he had made which works really well for both xp, food and bones

Made this after the trials update and it works perfectly still
I connected this at under the auto kelp/bone meal farm so I don't need to keep refilling it & I set it up to where there's a sticky piston that moves back when you turn it of so that if I want to run my bone meal farm and collect them I won't have to go down to the hopper on the sugar cane farm.
Absolutely perfect👍 The material list was so cheep I decided to make four of them and connected it
if 1 bone meal full grows 2 sugar it means that bone meal = sugar cane x 2 so for every bone meal you put into the farm you get back twice the amount of sugar cance so if you put in 100 bone meal you get 200 sugar cane . Downside of this farm is you need a reliable bone meal source and that requires maybe a skele spawner or even the kelp farm as you suggested . Thank god I didnt break the skele spawner in my world though so W

Make sure your using a dispenser not a dropper
For tons of bone meal i use a skeleton spawner farm that has magma blocks and a minecart hopper. I left it on last night and woke up to a full double chest full of bones and another full of arrows. thats 3 full chests of bone meal or enough bone blocks to build a giant T-Rex :) The farm uses one corner to funnel skeletons around the corner so i am against the wall and close enough to spawn lots of skeletons but the light from the magma blocks cant get to the spawning room
I can’t plant the sugarcane, it glitches out
It works perfectly but one problem 😢the sugar canes are not dropping in the chest and keep getting stuck inside, any way to fix this?
Check that both pistons are firing, and make sure the nozel on the hopper is facing the chest. Hope it helps.
Currently on 1.21. Everything works as it should, but the sugar cane does not fall into the hopper. I have to stand around the side of the farm, near the dispenser, to collect the sugar cane harvested by the pistons

hi jc! if its okay to ask i would like to see a tropical fish farm/axolotl breeding station for bedrock. im not too sure if the java farms available would work on bedrock so i really hope you can make a video about it haha

Build it off the chest that holds the sugarcane.
I mean, really you can do it off the hopper, but if you're asking YOU probably can't, just just build it off the chest.

Is there maybe a way to ad an observer to activate the pistons when the sugarcane grows naturally but the bonemeal is finished?
Click the button the harvest.but we recommend getting bonemeal
If you know about Redstone, you can replace any of the "second tier" (in line with the first piston) wall blocks with an observer, but you'll have to wire it up yourself.
It's not difficult, but his tutorials don't teach Redstone, they walk you through a build.

*DISCLAIMER*: mud is not going to serve well in this farm! I already tried it myself and the hoppers don’t collect the sugarcane through it hence why he used a different sugar-cane-plantable block in this design
add a minecart with hopper under the mudblock on top of rail and another hopper.. like you would for wool farm
