How did they get the 2015 - 2016 dates wrong? It would be 2016 - 2017 just as it was 1916 - 1917 and 1966 - 1967. Am I the only one who saw this mistake?

A historic moment happened on 6th Dec., 2017 whereby President Trump announced to the world the recognition of Jerusalem as the capital of Israel. The news shocked the world.
It's because they haven't really got a clue what they are talking about. Nothing happened in 2017 anyway.
Jubilee took place when Jesus began His ministry.
(Lk 4,16-30).
Jesus "stood up to read,
“The Spirit of the Lord is on me,
because he has anointed me
to proclaim good news to the poor.
He has sent me to proclaim freedom for the prisoners
and recovery of sight for the blind,
to set the oppressed free,
19 to proclaim the year of the Lord’s favor.”
The year of the Lord's favor" clearly refers to the Book of Leviticus on the jubilee year (Lev 25,10-13). Therefore at Nazareth Jesus was proclaiming a Jubilee year.

@@upperroomreloaded1431 I believe Jesus will return sometime on the Feast of Trumpets. Then as He walks up to Jerusalem during the 10 Days of Awe, it will be similar to a Jewish Bridegroom Procession or the coming of a King 👑 into a City.
And on the Day of Atonement, He will probably judge Israel 🇮🇱 and the Nations. And then during the Feast of Tabernacles it will be considered God dwelling with man. Some speculate that feast day might technically be fulfilled after the millennial reign of Messiah.
Interesting. Rabbi Cahn has said nothing about the 2021 2022 Shemitah year. Which ends on Sept 25.
And here we are.
The current Shemitah ends on September 13th and the Shemitah Jubilee starts on Yom Kippur starts on September 23rd. So what happens between the two dates?

How can we be sure that September 2015 will be the start of a new Jubilee..? Doesn't the Jewish religious year start in the month of Nisan..? So the start of the Jubilee year must be a some time in March/April..? And also, how can we know that the year that begins 2015/16 is the year that follows the 7th seventh year..? Did not the Jews lose track of the Jubilee year some time back..? I've read Jonathan Cahn's The Harbinger and I find it impressive, but these are some of the questions that genuinely pop up in my head. If any of you have concrete answers or if you could suggest some reading, it would be really helpful. Thanks.
+Amos Roger hey i was just doing some calculating and i never thought of it before but if you begin with year 51 which is sept 1967 you come to sept 2016 as the 7th shimitah which would leave the jubilee for sept 2017...are my calculations wrong? im a little confused with how cahn got his numbers and why mine are different. what do you think? +ddeldoe Hi. I still don't get most of it. Like why would 1967 have to be the 51st year..? No matter how well thought out our answers maybe, since the Jews don't have an clean record we would just be making assumptions right..? I'd love to be proved wrong with some historical facts, but that's as far as I can go right now. Also, most people consider the time around the Fall Feasts as the start of the year I.e Tishrei, while the Bible clearly says that the start of a year I.e. the 'first month' of the year is the month that starts with Spring i.e. Nisan. (Exodus 12:2). That's one more thing that I don't understand.

i understand it that there is the civil calendar and the religious one...the bible talks of Nissan as the first month so it seems that Rosh Hashanah is the first on the civil calendar

+Amos Roger There appears to be a lot of confusion concerning this so let me explain. The true Jubilee year is indeed lost but the Shemitah year (Sabbatical year) is not. So Jonathan Cahn noticed two major historical events happened after a Shemitah year and they are separated by about 50 years. If it happened after a Shemitah year, it could have been a Jubilee.
When does the Jubilee occur? It occurs on the 10th day of the 7th month on the Hebrew calendar, on Yom Kippur, which is around September.
Lev25:9
"Then you shall cause the trumpet of the Jubilee to sound on the tenth day of the seventh month; on the Day of Atonement you shall make the trumpet to sound throughout all your land."
How do you count a Jubilee? You count a Jubilee like you count days of the week. So think of years as days of the week. After 7 Saturdays (Sabbaths) you have a Jubilee on Sunday. Then you count another 7 Saturdays and the next Jubilee is on Sunday again. So you count the Jubilee year as one regular year (although it's a special Sabbath year). If you don't count that way then things will get screwed up pretty quickly. For example, you have a Saturday, the next day is the Jubilee, and the day after is a Sunday, now the days of the week are all off. You don't add days to the 7 day week, so don't add years to the 7 year Shemitah. Don't count the year after a Jubilee as year one. Count the year after a Jubilee as year two.
Likely Jubilee years:
1917 Sept 26 - 1918 Sept 6 (Balfour Declaration - Nov 2, 1917 )
1966 Sept 24 - 1967 Oct 4 (Six Day War - June 7, 1967)
2015 Sept 23 - 2016 Oct 2 (End Time Elijah Prophet Appears)

+Amos Roger One more thing, the purpose of the Jubilee is to restore your land that was lost. In 1917, the Jews got Israel back. Then in 1967 the Jews got Jerusalem back. And those were after Shemitah years, so it's highly probable that those years were Jubilee years.

You can pick just about any year and justify that IT was the Jubilee.

Can someone enlighten me please I am kind of lost, the way I understand it is that the shmitah equals 7 years then it's followed by one year of jubilee, now that equals 8 years. So then the 7th shmitah does not equal 49 years... so where am I wrong? The only way it can be is if the year of jubilee is the 7th year and not the eight. I am seriously asking this question please reply seriously
Hi Eli! They don't take a break every 7 years, there is a one-year break after the 49 years, making it 50 years total.
A Jubilee happens every 49 years, so the year count of sevens continues right through the Jubilee....ignores it

Think of Shemitah as a 7 year cycle that parallels the 6 days of Creation + a 7th day Sabbath.
Jubilee is seven Shemitah cycles. (7) sevens. The jubilee year comes after the 49th year. Just think that the Jubilee year (50th) is the SAME year as year #1 of the next Shemitah cycle. So, when you count Jubilees, just count 49s.

I don't get it. I am not Jew, but I know that Jewish years and months are set based on moon movement and not on sun movement. So, how come Shemitah / Jubilee is always in September which is based on sun movement?

I am seeing Pastor that the Jubilee year of the Philippines is the great Jubilee. Spain brought Catholism in the Philippine islands in 1521 and the whole archipelago was a majority catholic Christians until now. This Don't Make No Sense 1st We Are Living And Is Using The Gregorian Calender. Not The Original Ethiopian Calender.
the next jubilee year is 2036. The abomination of desolation was in 691 AD when the Dome of the rock was built in the Holy place. Add 1335 years (Daniel 12:12) to that and we get 2026 as the year of the rapture (sept 11, 2026). Those who come to that year and are waiting for Jesus will be blessed, as they will be raptured and won't experience death. Jesus' ministry began in 26-27 AD. He announced the acceptable year of the Lord from Isaiah (when prisoners would be set free), that was a jubilee year. The 2nd coming must also be a jubilee year since that's the ultimate fulfillment of jubilee. Adding sets of 49 years to the start of Jesus' ministry brings us to the next jubilee year in 2036. 2036 should be the year of the 2nd coming. We know there will be 10 years between the rapture and the 2nd coming from the "10 days of awe" as the Jews call them, between the feast of trumpets and the day of atonement on the Jewish calendar. So, further proof the rapture should be in 2026 and 2nd coming in 2036.

The two ways to count it,one is correct:1916 to 1966(50 years) to 2016(50 years) in october. according to that,the 49th sabbath year began in sept 2015. This alternative would have made the 1917 jerusalem freedom happen after the 51styear began and a couple months,a year after the 1916 50th year. And secondly that made the month of june 1967 the 50th year and 5 months later. Second way to count it is 1917 to 1967(50 years) to 2017(50 years)! that alternative would have made the jerusalem day of 1967 happen in the 49th year's last couple months.and the dec 1917 would have happened a couple months after its 50th year had first started. i prefer this last calculation,making 2017 the start of the jubilee,it just sounds more logical! the first alternative has the december 1917 miracle happen too late ,in the 51st year. the jerusalem miracles are to happen in the 49th and 50th years! and that makes this a 48th year (as of july 2016)until oct 2016 becoming a 49th year. so far,we are either in a 48th or 49th year until october. by then,we will either be in a 49th year or 50th year. glorious in that great prophecy can happen anytime from now until sept 2018 when the 51st year begins.that gives us another 2 years and a few months from as of june 23 2016 when i wrote this to september-oct 2018 when the 51st year begins.

Adam was born on Tishri 1, 4004 BC, July 27th. Eve was born three years later on same day, Tishri 1, 4001 BC, July 23rd. On her 777th Sabbath, she was given her way of communicating to Yahweh, the holy spirit and she went to 40 days of temptation like Jesus. She failed on her last day which was her 15th birthday on July 23, 3986 BC. Yahweh's sentence was given on Genesis 3:15 on August 8, 3986 BC, Tishri 1, the start of countdown for 120 Jubilees. On Tishri 10, Adam and Eve were driven away from Paradise, the first Yom Kippur. Each Jubilee was a period of 50 years and the 49th and 50th years are Jubilees for Yahweh and for two years, the earth will have Sabbatical rest period of not planting nor reaping. In Genesis 6:3, God foretold that Adam life will be a 120 years.
Adam lived for 930 years wherein at age 40, he offered his twin sons to Yahweh in their 777th Sabbaths. On their second 777th Sabbaths at age 30, Cain offered Abel instead after his offerings were rejected. This was followed by 120 years of Adam in harmony with Yahweh and the times of trial of 40 times 777 Sabbaths which is 595 years. Then, another 120 years of Adam's seed corruption unto the start of Mayan calendar on August 11, 3114 BC. Then after 40 years, Adam died, making a total of 930 years.
The number 120 also represents the number of Jubilees wherein the Adam, meaning red earth will be judged. This means a period of 6,000 years. From 3986 BC to 1 BC was 3985 years and 1 BC to 1 AD was 1 year. From 1 AD to 2015 AD was 2014 years, making a total of 6,000 years. On September 27, 2015 AD, we were given the last of the four blood moons, right after Tishri 1 on September 14, 2015, marking the start of the 6,000th Grand Grand Jubilee and the one year celebration of Jubilee which ended on Tishri 1, September 2, 2016. and nothing happened. Why is there no big event except the rise of Trump and goodbye to Obama on January 20, 2017. No Gathering Together and no days of tribulation. Why?
On Friday after sunset, March 28, 27 AD was Jewish New Year, Nisan 1 and Jesus declared the Acceptable Year of Yahweh. On the 3rd day, Jesus told her mother," My time is not yet" but anyway, performed his first miracle that almost jeopardized his ministry. On April 4, 27 AD, Friday, just before Sabbath, Jesus performed cleansing of the Temple which officially started the Acceptable Year of Yahweh. After 55 weeks of ministry, on April 23, 28 AD, Jesus performed another cleansing of the Temple, fulfilling the 62nd weeks where Daniel 9:26 prophesied that the Messiah will be cutoff if we add the first 7 weeks from the baptism of Jesus on February 13, 27 AD.
The Acceptable Year of Yahweh is not included in the counting of the 120 Jubilees, which means we need to add 55 weeks to September 2, 2016 Tishri 1. This takes us to September 22, 2017 Tishri 1. Surely, Israel will be judged again on the coming Yom Kippur for not accepting Christ Jesus as their Messiah and the Spiritual Temple will be taken unto heaven during the 40 days of tribulation on September 30, 2017.
