- A tribute to one of the finest choreographers and her best disciple. Saroj Khan Ji had the skill to pull out the smallest beat of the song and magnify it gracefully. And then there is ever blessed Madhuri ma'am who nurtured these moves into the elixir of immortality.
This was indeed a dream to see them both pair up for another magnum opus period film. Alas!

You say that like its a Bollywood issue over an audience issue.
When SRK, Salman, Akshay, Ajay, or etc makes films with romantic subplots ans young female stars, people go in to watch. They dont segregate the female actors, they go where money takes them.
When Madhuri did Aaja Nachle, Bucket List, or Maja Ma, yall dont watch them. When Kajol does her own films, yall dont watch em. Salaam Venky was so beautiful. The same goes for the rest of the older generation female actresses. Why dont we?
And this has been a thing for a long time, During the 90s Amitabh Bachchan was still a leading hero, and at the time he did a film with the then young Madhuri Dixit. Same thing with Anil Kapoor, Rishi Kapoor, and the older generation.
And another thing to consider is that sometimes woman take off time off of films. especially when it comes to maternity leave, and once they do that.and they arent in the limelight, the audience quickly forgets them and moves pasf them.
Its a lot of things to consider...

Madhuri in her best dance-off's ( if you can call it that) ..with Karishma/ Deepika/Prabhudeva(my 3 favorites) shows her versatility and how its her face that brings as much to the scren dance as her body dance moves❤
