It's really hard to believe that George had to constantly fight to get his song's heard let alone recorded beggers belief really we can only thank god he did in the end...RIP George you get more recognition and stronger by the year...we miss you dreadfully..
Not that heard to believe, when you consider the genius and age of Lennon & McCartney.
we must not forget that Paul wrote the piano introduction to George's song.
Another excellent deconstruction / reconstruction. It sounds really good. Excellent stereo. They didn't really embrace stereo. I think George (Harrison) continued to think it was just some sort of gimmick. It's always been a great track of course and George bringing his friend Eric for the lead guitar was genius. It's such an appropriate lead for the song.
Thanks so much for your comment! I'm very glad you're listening! Yes, it took a while before The Beatles embraced stereo mixing.
Don't know how you did it but it's never sounded so clear!!! Thank you.
Thank you for listening! I'm glad you're hearing a clear difference. Thanks for the comment!
How these Beatles videos are still up is beyond me, but thank god they are. Great work.
Excellent picture and sound synchronising. Mind blowing Video clip🎸🎧
I appreciate that! Thanks! Glad you enjoyed it and thanks for watching!
The greatest song ever written, incredible.
One of the highlights of the Golden Anniversary Tour of 1987-88 ... that never happened.
Another wonderful video. I love the way you got everyone in there, so creative. ☮
Thank you! I think those you see in the video are the only performers on the original recording. Thanks for watching!
The mix is very good. This time the video shines! Thanks for sharing with us. This is truly a masterpiece!
Thank you for this very appreciated comment! I'm glad you're listening and watching!
Even sounds Amazing straight out of the phone the video is fabulous well done 👏
I'm glad it does! Thank you for this comment and thanks for listening!
Yes, these are the best Beatles videos I have ever seen!!!!
SHOW, GEORGE , ERICK, and the BEATLES the BEST….
This channel has blowm my mind. It is that good. I hope you do Yesterday as Paul's vocals on some other mixes has such gret clarity without taking away any heart. Really, this is a very impressive set of outstanding quality.
Thank you very much! I'm glad you're enjoying the channel. Thanks for listening!
My most beloved song composed by George Harrison in The Beatles. Thanks a lot for the remix and the video.
Excellent !
I can feel the bass 💪
Perfect equalization and remastering. Perfect music forever. Perfect artists with the fifith Beatle: EC.
The equalization and remastering was the fine work of Giles Martin. I only separated the backing vocal and added some reverb at the end from his remix. Thanks for listening!
Good buy Dolby atmos mix for me on this one.
One of my favorite songs! Well done!
My God. I felt so real.
Yeah, this is amazing. I’ve been listening to the Beatles since 1965 when I was three years old and it’s never mattered what format… all the same, with the video too, these postings are amazing. Thank you.
Wow
You mix these tracks with a freedom and boldness that Giles Martin dare not exercise!
Yes. I'm sure Giles is restrained by purists. Remember even his dad, George Martin, transferred the raw master tapes of The Beatles recordings straight to digital without any processing or remixing when first first released to CD back in the 80's out of fear of altering sacred material. For example, Giles could easily remove the ADT voice double tracking on many Beatles' recordings but it would drastically change the character of the song that the masses are so accustomed to. I believe this restraint sometimes renders a lifeless version of the original.
4 singers. 3 songwriters, including one of the most heralded songwriting duos of the 20th century. That's why.
Really wonderful remixes. I would love to hear ‘Rain’ remixed. It’s such a great song and I love Ringo’s drumming on it.
Thank you! I have remixed 'Rain' in which I brought Ringo's drums more forward but unfortunately it's not allowed for TH-cam publishing. If and when it is allowed I will certainly post it! Thanks for listening!
Beatiful job, tks!
My Sweet George ❤❤🎸🎸🎸🎸
Nice. Please do more from the White album.
Thank you! I will if there's anything I could contribute without disrespecting the original. Thanks for listening!
Most of the white album songs were mixed with backing and drums down and compressed while vocals were up as it should be to give it that Beatles rock sound but this mix works with the bass and drums up , it makes it sound very modern. Also it was good you put the drums and bass on one channel even though hearing on headphones can rack your brain and make you disoriented especailly if you listen to it loud , What you could have done is on the oppositte channel was to EQ any bass sound way up to make the sound more even and mayby to a stereo enhnaced just on that one channel which is trick but can be done , your would have to isolate the bass drum track and then stereo enhance just by themselves and then remix it into the stereo track again. Regardless , great job.
Thank you. I've always believed the drums and bass should be together but they were quite often not in 60's recordings. Thanks for listening!
A DAY IN THE LIFE, PLEASE‼️‼️‼️
Wow that's great! I love the way Paul's 'yeah yeah yeah' near the end is so present. Thank you.
Beautiful
All I can say is "Brilliant"
Sooo good!!👌
Britt2001b if you put these together they are amazing thank you I was born in 61 and in 69 I was listening to all there music they were amazing and still sound great to this day
Thank you! I agree, their music is still amazing after more than 60 years!
Great work. A suggestion, a long version of Can You Take Me Back.
Thank you very much! To complete a long version of 'Can You Take Me Back' I'm sure extra foreign instrumentation and vocals would have to be added and, I would never do that! Thanks for listening!
@@britt2001b I’m a big fan of your remixes. I heard a version of Can You... where they took the long version and cut it up and repeated parts, didn’t add instrumentation. Since, taken down. ✌️👍
Thanks, it was probably hit with a copyright strike as very few Beatle recordings are permitted on TH-cam.
@@britt2001b Yeah, Christine Anne had her most recent Walrus remix removed. Whereas other ppl have uploaded their versions and they are still up ?! I love yr videos too....and yr descriptions of the changes you made to the mix...
Thank you for enjoying the videos also! Yes, I've been trying to publish a remix of the 2019 mix of 'Come Together' and it's always kicked back with the message copyright owners will not allow it, although others still have theirs up.
I love the alterations but i definitely would've centered the bass and drums and hard panned the tambourine (i hate the sound of a centered tambourine in a stereo mix).
Love to hear you take on "I Am the Walrus". The LOVE album had a beautifully reimagined track with stereo strings, but the 2023 remix sounds dry and boxy with mono strings.
Realmente Clapton hizo llorar esa guitarra, no solo llora, llora lastimosamente
Great remix 👍 would love to have flac files of your mixes.
Even Clapton wasn't sure he should interrupt a Beatles recording session.
I have not heard the ORIGINAL mix, which was monaural but I'm told it is far superior to any of the the "stereo" mixes.
That said, I find this highly enjoyable.
You do some really outstanding work. It's great! I'm wondering what you can do with Cream's song "Crossroads" from the 1968 Farewell Tour at the Royal Albert Hall. I always thought that was better than the version from the Wheels Of Fire album. At any rate, I'm looking forward to hearing more of your work. What's old is new again.
Thank you so much! I've remixed and published a couple of Cream recordings and have seriously considered 'Crossroads'. The drum placement of many of their recordings have always bothered me. I'll check out the live Royal Albert Hall version. Thanks for the suggestion and thanks for listening!
@@britt2001b I wondered when the 1968 RAH disc in the Cream "Goodbye" farewell tour box set was issued a few years ago why they didn't consider making a DES stereo mix. But it was so poorly recorded and with so much echo on those recordings it might still not be great. If you do consider any additional Cream songs, how about "Meet Me In The Bottom", a great "lost" live track from 1966 that was never officially released, and could really benefit with a more balanced mix and DES stereo sound.
@@dakotafarm1 Thanks! I will consider that and try to give it a listen. I appreciate the suggestion.
@@britt2001b Thank YOU, and I neglected to mention that this is another great Beatles remaster by you. Always great work.
Damn shame Harrison was harassed by Paul so much that He said Paul ruined Him as a guitarist! Would've preferred George on LEAD GUITAR anyway to Clapton!....PERIOD!...AUM ❤
I love what experiments are possible, great work - but at least to me, with so much clarity and separation, i feel a lack of cohesion somehow, the blending of the sounds seem to be part of the original magic...
Excellent! Best version I have ever heard. How have you avoided being banned for copyright infringement? Hope your channel remains active.
Thank you! The copyright owner now allows the songs from the recent re-issue of the 'Red' and 'Blue' albums to be published on TH-cam as long as there is no monetary compensation.
@@britt2001b Interesting. I presume the copyright owner is Paul McCartney? If so, a tip of the hat to him. The miserly obsession of a number of those who have made millions and millions from their songs is discouraging. Perhaps with age comes both wisdom and consideration for others.
Within the copyright report of this song TH-cam states the copyright owner is UMG (on behalf of Calderstone-Beatles). I don't know how much or if any interest Paul McCartney owns of this organization but as long as there is no monetary gain there are very few songs that are blocked. All Beatles' songs are blocked with the exception of the 2023 'Red' and 'Blue' albums. The reason there are so many TH-cam videos that have blocked content or creators complaining about blocked content is because they are receiving income for their videos. I receive none and would not request any. A percentage of the income generated by the ads that you see on my projects goes to the copyright owner. I understand the exposure creates interest in their product and in some instances revives the interest. So, it seems it's in their best interest to allow it. The components within this process are fluid so I'm sure there will be many changes and modifications to come.
@@britt2001b There is a lengthy, detailed discussion of UMG on Wikipedia. Paul McCartney is one of their signed artists.
UMG owns the rights to the Beatles recordings. It is a dutch company with fifty six percent ownership by a single family. Good article if you're interested.
Your mixes are amazing. Maybe you can remix "I Don't Want to Spoil the Party" and settle who is actually singing the bottom part in the verses. I believe it's John singing with himself, but many think it's Paul, and some even think George.
Thank you! Whoever it was this is some of the nicest harmonies ever put down on a record! I've had my eyes set on this one for a while. I really want to separate the vocals. This could solve your mystery! But unfortunately, it's not allowed for TH-cam publishing. Perhaps I can produce a segmented sample short that would be allowed. Thanks so much for listening!
I wonder if that's Mal on the tambourine.
These mixes sound crazy good! How did you pull these off? Did you somehow get access to the individual tracks/stems, or were they somehow separated through computer magic/Peter Jackson demixing wizardry? Or is it your trade secret? 😉
Thank you! The process is the same as Peter Jackson's approach except I'm using much more basic, less sophisticated software. De-mix and isolate the components as much as possible then rebuild or remix those components in a different, hopefully better way. Thanks for your comment and thanks for listening!
That Geddy Lee? Eric ended up with Patty Boyd, ended their friendship.
No that's John from his last ever TV performance. There is a great resemblance!
Brilliant remix….was this done with AI? Brings out the the best of the production ….!
Thank you! No AI. Giles Martin did 99% of this remix. I only separated some vocals from his 2018 remix and moved them to a different channel. Also, I added a bit of reverb at the end. Martin did not use AI, he only remixed the original multi-tracks and re-synced the bounced tracks from the original recordings to create more multi-tracks. I also did not use AI with the vocal separations. Thanks for listening!
@@britt2001b so Giles was able to sync up tracks before they were mixed down to separate tracks. Is that what you’re saying? Sorry I’m trying to understand…. Because this is very interesting.
@@rjmprod The Beatles recorded this song on an 8-track multi-track recorder. I think it was one of their first occasions of using an 8 track from using 4-tracks before. Even with 8-tracks (years later it would be in the 100's) they would mix some of the tracks together by bouncing them to another multi-track recorder to create more empty tracks that would allow for more additions (or corrections) to be utilized. In theory, fill up 8 tracks, mix two of those tracks together and bounce to another 8 track recorder, and now you have seven tracks filled with one empty track to add another instrument, embellishments, handclaps, etc. So now, you have 2 reels of tape of 8 tracks each. These reels, say the 2 in my example, are stored in the archives of Abbey Road Studios. Giles can take these original reels of tape to create a new mix but running the tapes together on two separate machines, they would not stay in sync with each other. But, with today's digital technology, the recordings from those original tapes can be transposed to digital media and the computers can keep all those original recorded tracks in perfect sync. This process renders an excellent way to create a nice sounding remix. To me, all the official remixes that have gone back to the original pre-bounced recordings sound much better than those official remixes that rely on de-mixing of the instruments on the track. I'm sorry this is a long explanation but I sincerely hope it helps since it's interesting to you. Thanks again!
@@britt2001b Man, I appreciate it, before they were premixed to the other machine I’ve never used any digital rendering them was able to do a sink up without a sink track, which I’m sure they didn’t have at the time. But I guess anything is possible with today’s technology. Thanks again but I really appreciate your explanation. It made it very clear…!
Could you please remix the song SEE YOUR SUNSHINE from McCartney's MEMORY ALMOST FULL ALBUM?! It has some of the absolute best bass playing of his career and you can barely hear it.
Thanks for the suggestion. It's been a while since I've listened to that album. I'll revisit it and check it out. As far as I remember, this album was extremely compressed which sometimes interferes with a optimum de-mix.
If I fell please!
I've remixed this, just can't publish it on TH-cam because of the copyright blocks.
The 2018 mix of The White Album is the only time I felt that a remix/remaster of an album had transcended the original release . The music now was multi dimensional . The following years mix of Abbey Road was a disappointment . The 2023 mix on the Red and Blue albums has moments ( Magical Mystery Tour ) but again missed the mark . So I am sitting here listening to your contribution and loving it . Really appreciate the vocal separation . The clarity is amazing . It was a difficult song for George ( John and Paul were still not convinced of including it even when doing the final track listing ) but the song has now its rightful place in celebrating the brilliance of The Beatles ( and Eric Clapton )
Thank you! I agree, 'Magical Mystery Tour' was the highlight of 'Red' and 'Blue' 2023 remix. I wish the rest of the tracks received the same treatment. Thanks for the mention of the vocal separation. I wish the official remixes would do more of this. Thanks for listening!
wish you could do some oasis, they deserve better mixes
[Verse 1]
I look at you all, see the love there that's sleeping
While my guitar gently weeps
I look at the floor and I see it needs sweeping
Still, my guitar gently weeps
[Bridge]
I don't know why nobody told you
How to unfold your love
I don't know how someone controlled you
They bought and sold you
[Verse 2]
I look at the world and I notice it's turning
While my guitar gently weeps
With every mistake, we must surely be learning
Still, my guitar gently weeps
[Guitar Solo]
[Bridge]
I don't know how you were diverted
You were perverted, too
I don't know how you were inverted
No one alerted you
[Verse 3]
I look at you all, see the love there that's sleeping
While my guitar gently weeps
(I look) Look at you all
Still, my guitar gently weeps
[Outro]
Oh, oh
Oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh
Oh, oh, oh, oh
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, oh, ooh
Yeah👍 yeah😂yeah😊
