I am interested to see how Tom Cruise's career evolves when he is no longer young enough to do these action films. Performances like Born On The Fourth Of July and Interview With The Vampire illustrate what a brilliant actor he is and has a lot more to offer than being just 'Action Man.' I hope he doesn't retire when he can no longer physically do the 'Action' roles, and that he takes more acting risks, rather than just physical ones of the 'Action' variety. He is more than capable.
In my opinion, aside from him doing his own actions, the bigger reason why he's the biggest action star in the world is that he's able to perform great acting in non action scenes to draw the audience in.

His dedication to performing his own stunts is awe-inspiring, and it's incredible to see the level of training and preparation that goes into creating those jaw-dropping action sequences we love in the 'Mission Impossible' films.
Tom is a likeable guy with great personality and that's what draws people to him. I don't care what people say about him, I have watched almost all his films and he keeps blowing my mind each time❤. The ones that stand out for me are Top gun and mission impossible.
