Things that do not change your environment...prayers and politics. You can be religious, you can vote for who you want, but you need to physically effect change around you. Even if it starts with you and your neighbors just cleaning up your alleyway. Pretty sure generations have been going to church and to the polls, asking for intervention, and it obviously hasn't come. The happiness is in the acceptance of the situation. You have dozens of guys just sitting around, rally them together and clean out the streams, pile the garbage up at least. No need to revolt or riot. Just simple steps as a community. Govern yourselves, because no one else is.
The Public areas are kept as clean as possible. Maybe they have different priorities than how things may appear to you.
@@meannormajean8418 you don't have to be wealthy to pick up the trash that's thrown around in front of your house your priorities are to leave their places full of trash my priorities is to clean up my yard in my neighbor's yard that's how we have nice neighborhoods

Here if you have no education you cant find descent job.many of them are working student and some are luvky get some scholar. Im living in slum brfore but we are all professional but our salaries are not sufficient for having a home. Majority overseas are edycated, the less are those domestic helpers.
Those houses are better than sleeping in the street or living on boats as seen in other countries....

Even though this place is considered a slum area people here are happy as if the have no problems....the gov't has a housing program for the poor but it will take some time to build these housing problem, but ehat is important is that this administration is prioritizing the construction of these houses

Looks better than a bunch of the streets in America.... They aren't just sleeping on the street drugged out of their minds, nor are they living in tents up and down the expensive neighborhoods. This is pretty terrible though. My question is with all homeless people, WHY NOT LIVE IN THE WOODS WHERE THERES FRESH WATER AND FISH AND WILDLIFE AND TREES FROM WHICH TO BUILD A HOUSE FROM? I see all kinds of folks on TH-cam that built houses from the trees there in the woods and had fresh water and fish and live and thrive in the forest and jungles.... Lots of folks here are survivalists and they do that in the woods and a bunch of them actually live in the woods...
There is no fresh water. Pollution everywhere. And it is NOT better than the streets of America. Educate yourself before making inaccurate statements.

Hi Larry, I have been a long time subscriber , I love your tours. I am truly hoping that the music overlay is a one - off. I stopped watching it after 10 mins. For me the usual village / community sounds are as important as the visual. I love the interactions you have with people, especially the children. I really do not want to this replaced by elevator music, it spoils it. It takes so much away from the natural feel of the walking tour.

President Marcos he should consider helping these poor people and not concentrating on all building Bridges in the roads who gives a damn about all that people's lives is more important than anything else! Philippines has never been better since I lived there and never change! No progress it's always been a poor country!

I'm from Germany and have lived on a small (all year warm) island for some time with little to no money - life can be so simple. Have food and water and internet, be protected from weather and nature, that's all.
