I'm working on a new journal that a friend of mine commissioned. Today we're picking out papers that help incorporate some of her favorite things into this journal. You also get a chance to help me pick out the cover. Leave your comment below to vote for which cover you think I should use!

I am starting a new journal, too. I am using the Dr. Seuss book called Summer. It was one of my childhood favorites. I thought why not? I enjoyed watching your video.
It makes perfect sense to make a journal from a favorite childhood book. I made a Christmas journal out of one of my favorite childhood books 2 Christmases ago. I've not heard of the Seuss book you've mentioned. I will have to keep an eye out for it. It sounds very cute! 💖

Interesting story from the lady will be a very interesting journal I'm sure. She will love Wales for the mountains ⛰ ❤😊😅 nice to get great feedback like that when a client wants more of your style well done ☺️😘 like the sheep herding fact too about odoho 😉
Every October the sheep are moved from the high mountains down to the winter feeding grounds. There is an event in Sun Valley called "The Running of the Sheep" where one group runs their herd right through the center of town. I finally got to go a few years ago. I was fascinated watching the sheep dogs run across the backs of the sheep to get where they wanted to be! It's over very quickly, but truly impressive to watch.
Every time I see photos of the rocks and hills in Wales I think, "That looks A LOT like Idaho!" 😂 We just watched a show called, "Mr. Bates vs the Post Office" and the central figure in the show lives in Wales. (Fascinating story!) The scenery was outstanding! Reminded me of the photos you've shown of your valley. One day....🤞 💖
@@CreatorsCall yes that would gave been a lovely sight as the sheep dogs are so clever what they do as such an intelligent breed the border collie etc. Oh by the way when are you up for a video call again for a catch up? As I would like to discuss more about your garden and us coming over to you if your still interested of course lols? I love the Martha Stewart book because of the color. I know it would be more difficult to make but it's really pretty for the cover. The cover you choose should have green on it as you said since it's her favorite color. I love the page material you chose and the ephemera too! Great job on choosing things for this special journal Marci!💐

This looks like a fun journal. I'm always all about anything green. But I was also thinking of using the world that sings book and putting a green spine or tie closure on it. Happy crafting!

Exciting journal and I love all the items that you have auditioned. Covers are hard for me to decide and its has to be done before I can think about the inside. I struggle with finishing up journals but only because of life then when I get back to it I'm lost. " I'm working on that" 😂 Thanks for sharing, hope you are having a beautiful week. 🤗Big hugs
Good morning, Celeste! Exactly, the cover has to be decided before the pages can be cut to fit, etc. I have to write myself lots of notes because I also forget once I'm out of the creative "zone" what I was wanting to do in the moment. The struggles of being creative, right? 😂 💖

It's so hard to choose the cover, but I'm getting there. I love how grand and awe inspiring the mountains on these calendar pages look. Adds an interesting element to the journal, I think. 💖
